All leads are properly fused within 12-18” of terminals including alternator I’m not worried. The battery is held down very firmly with no play and the terminals are clamped to the posts and tightened with set screw for extra insurance of not slipping off. I also have the proper circuit breaker in place with audio equipment being fused on both ends going into amp and terminals of battery and a .008 voltage drop when cranked up. Also my wiring is wrapped in exterior Tessa tape and then tech flex sleeving throughout. The wires underneath the truck near any heat have high heat sleeving around them and ziptied every 24 inches as well. I over killed some would say with my wiring as it’s all at least a gauge or two bigger than recommended on blue sea website and if you knew how many augmented grounds I’m running throughout the length of the truck you’d shit your britches

There is zero issues with the cap falling out of a Gas Hole. In fact, they are a little tight if anything. I worked mine in with a bit of sand paper until the fit was the way that I wanted.
Besides, if you go for a different hanger, you would miss out on the opportunity to shove that cap in your Gas Hole every time you fill up.....

Ran grounds throughout the bottom of the truck every 3-4 ft and to the transmission and starter plus added the ac drain extension during my extreme boredom of quarantining back this summer. Also added another small blue sea fuse block in the middle of the truck underneath to make runs easier for bed and back of the truck led lighting or other small low wattage add ons. I’ve probably spent as much on hood wiring tech flex and Tessa tape for the wiring as I have on my JL audio amps lol 7E0C16A1-953B-4202-B854-FD01C72DCD35.jpg 8945BBBD-EFC5-4BAF-9E06-2DEE9B9FA55E.jpg D18E326E-B0DC-4E18-81ED-390BA2ECB988.jpg DD8311B4-0331-43E6-9256-45079637C068.jpg BFFF04CA-A958-4B50-8A4B-2AAD3E61D5DA.jpg FCEA4AE6-A1D7-46A8-8975-EE1DE96C337C.jpg FCEA4AE6-A1D7-46A8-8975-EE1DE96C337C.jpg 31414116-5C8A-41FE-8194-A991626CEB7F.jpg

I wouldn't stress not covering the positive battery terminal. Proper fusing, tight connections, wire routing, and good grounds are way higher on my list and I worked on auto electrical for 20 years.... That battery set up is my favorite that I have seen on this forum to date.

I can’t quite figure out why all this would be beneficial. Do you have some upgrades planned that will need some additional ground points?

I too loosened the opening. So far it works perfectly!

Ive got many lights in the back and bed of the truck I’m getting ready to post. Maybe not necessary but grounds will never hurt anything when you’re running 1500 watts from an audio system and run a 1500w power inverter from time to time tailgating. The grounds help voltage drop
