Did you use back to black on your flares? Mine are starting to look pretty rough from two years of the Florida sun.

A repair is going to bother you to no end, you know it is. Your existing hood is better than that, may not be what you wanted but at least there's no damage.
With all the time and $$ you have invested......... .

I know and agree... looks like I just threw away enough cash to get a custom slimline bumper with a hitch.

I won’t be putting a damaged and repaired hood on my truck, I’ll wait to see if they have any other solutions. I’ll keep you all posted. In the mean time, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from them if you aren’t in a position to do an install within 3 days of receiving.

Got the flip key put together. I am surprised at how much side to side movement there is in the key. I checked the set screw and it seems tight. Any advice?

You purchase this with a credit card? Does your credit card carry any additional insurance for this kinda stuff? A lot of them do.

Installed GatorTrax tonneau cover, was pretty easy. Still some minor adjustments to make.

Removed the stickers from the sun visors. Still some residue that I just couldn't get off but its as good as it gets.

Removed the TRD Offroad Stickers from the box also

Also started trimming the inside wheel well plastic - the 33's rub on an incline and while turning. Got rid of most of the rub

I’ve got a little too, but it’s the whole flip mechanism. I’m satisfied that it’s the best it can be without it being significantly larger.

That's how they are. I've got two and they are both that way. I think it's just the tolerances in the mfg of the product.

Thank you for the thought, I’ll have to check that out. It was purchased on a credit card through PayPal. It was quite a while ago though (lead time). In fairness, timing was a big part of the issue. I work one week on one week off. Every other week off, I go visit my son. This means I’m only home one week out of Every four. It just sucks that I paid the price for a new part, and now it looks like I won’t be getting what I paid for.
