I had installed the new Course Motorsports no drill phone mount earlier in the week and I am amazed at just how stable this mount is. For the moment when first installed, I had the cord dangling to the phone from the Car Play USB jack. I had already gotten a right angle USB adapter so I could actually use the right-side cup holder and I snaked the cable up around the trim piece and it is held in place with (2) small pieces of the smooth side of Velcro. One piece of Velcro is tucked under the trim piece so I can't even see if from my seat. The top piece of Velcro blends in well with the black interior. In the future, once the back is over the surgery I may try to snake it up behind the dash to the top of the radio but then I may have to notch the trim to get it out of there with the trim placed back as it should be. Right now it doesn't look bad and works for me.

It’s a quick release valve to replace the existing hex nut.

@ALI3N_123 I was. Just making a point. I actually got my 2020 TRD Sport @ invoice, minus 36k for my trade-in 16 TRD OR with 30K miles on it.
Plus the dealer allowed me to take my OEM bed step, OEM tonneau cover, OEM side steps, OEM bed mat, and myriad other little mods I had on my 2016.
Additionally, they installed (at no charge) a new OEM tail gate lock. I faired very well on that deal.

Out of curiosity I just went to to the Toyota website and built a fully loaded 2021 sport and the MSRP was roughly $47,000. I can believe he paid every bit of that if it was a fully loaded sport with all the bells and whistles.

My bad.. I should have said that when I buy a vehicle that stickers for upwards of 50K, I want it to look like a 50K vehicle.
I have been in the automobile business for well over 50 years. I would NOT pay that kind of money for a Tacoma.

Started building a headache/chase rack a while back with my brother, and we finally got it on the truck. Still lots of work to do.

I mean, I don’t doubt it. I’m glad I bought almost 5 years ago and don’t have a payment now.
I’m not one to say how much is too much. I’m about to close on my third house at 34 and things are 2x + as much as they were just 11 years ago. Even a few blocks away from my first house.
Times change. I’m sure I’ll feel that change too after I move and look Into getting a 4Runner for my lady. That might come later as we both work from home so no rush , I’m sure I’ll still feel it just like everyone else.

Close to $50k for a 4 runner is probably in our future though

The stainless t-nuts are from Amazon and the stainless eyelet (3/8") are from Lowes, feel free to use the idea. You can buy steel t-nuts but I read that even thou they're coated they will rust...no rusty thingy for me and you're welcome :canada:!

    Minor stuff.
Added my KTJO door bowl lights in ice blue in, added my gas cap and tailgate handle decals on today.

The installation for the bowl lights was pretty easy and quick. Took maybe 20-30 minutes.
