Got a lot done this weekend:
    • Removed the skids and gave the frame a good wash
    • Painted all the trail scars on skids, sliders, frame, and rear axle
    • Oil change Mobil 1 0W30 and Toyota filter
    • Replaced cabin filter Fram P/N CF10374 with activated carbon
    • Greased the front driveshaft with Lucas Xtra NGLI #2
    • Treated all the side windows with Aquapel P/N 47101
    • Flattened a dent in the BudBuilt engine skid with the Toyota two-ton press:

Tomorrow will be undercoating with CRC cosmoline and Fluid Film

Well as I always say: When there is a redneck will, there is a redneck way.:rofl:

As a universal truth: there isn't a lock or safe that man has made that cannot be broken into. No one said it would be easy, but it can be done.

Realistically though, most bed toolboxes, swing cases, and OEM storage like the Rambox are lockable, so a locked bed cubby wouldn't draw attention.

Haven't had the chance to use them in some conditions that would really test them. But first impressions; they look a little too orange. Output isn't bad though.

This weekend’s project the @mattgecko leds for the truck bed. This was a request from my spouse who suggested that the bed needed lights because she couldn’t see anything in the pitch black morning before a hunt. Red so I don’t blow out my night vision and because it looks so cool lol. @orezona sticker in the bed for the keen eye’d folks.

edit: I have no idea why that is sideways. Apologies

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I load all my stuff in a UWS toolbox. Could not live without it. Surprising how much can fit in it. I have shovels, axes, bucksaws, fire extinguishers, tent, sleeping bag, tow rope, a 14,000 pound cable puller, countless tools, emergency clothing, tarps, plus pretty much every other piece of gear I would ever need if stuck in the bush for a few days. I do a lot of solo remote trips far into BC wilderness, so I leave the gear in the box fulltime. They are also light, so they are easy to remove if you need the full space of the pickup once in a while. Plus I slide mine toward front or to the back depending on what I am carrying. You can see the box in this pic with the lid up. Right now mine is mounted right over my back wheels togive extra weight over the rear axle for added traction in the snow. I have about 280 pounds of gear inside the box. Also it does not go to the bottom of the truck bed, so I can perfectly slide a spare tire under it, clamping the box down so the tire can not be removed without first getting into the box and loosening the tie downs. I take 2 spare tires every trip after I blew 2 tires on the same day on an off-road trip.
