Getting ready to take the Evo to English Racing! I've never towed with a manual truck before. I've only towed a 7,000 pound aluminum trailer with my work Ram 3500, lol

What did I do today? I cut the snot out of my front bumper and made it high clearance. Pretty happy with my self to be honest. I was able to get three bends in three planes done twice. I also threw on a set of the Dobinson MRR's up front. I could not be happier with them.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Another Black Friday item showed up. Since my truck is mostly blacked out including headlights, I went with the midnight series. So with this and my mirror flood lights I'll have plenty of lighting for my needs. Now just have to wait for the bumper to install it.

You should invite him out to do something and just send him google map directions with navigation set to public transit or walking.

Awesome and thank you, I appreciate the information on it. I wasn’t trying to equate it to the rubberized coatings, I just have nightmares about how awful that stuff is.

Just wanting to do some research and make sure I’m doing it correctly before I spray it all over a brand new truck.

    LOL

Welcome to the club. My 2016 had same issue. Used clear silicone to fix the issue. I hate having to do "charlie work" to get it fixed, but since my truck is well out of warranty, I can't afford to get it fixed. The part itself isn't expensive, but I'm not so confident in taking the roof/ceiling out of the truck.

I will say that Toyota "dropped the ball" on that design for the DCs. My AC is removable from the exterior so it made it super easy to replace the 3rd brake light with an aftermarket LED with smoked lens. I sypathize with those that have the leaking issue on your DCs.

How did you notice the leak? Was it evident? Hoped they have fixed this by the 2020 model I got.

Toyota replaced my 3rd brake light and headliner outside the 36K warranty for free. Did you try calling them?
