Thanks for this ... I have had my eye on this product for some time but this just seems ridiculous. You are not the first person here who has had this problem. I don't know this company ... and I don't wish bad things on any small business ... but it just seems like this is not a very complicated thing to do correctly.

I mean it sucks, but good sound sometimes costs way more than we planned. Toyota uses plastic panels that have the rigidity of a candle.

That's a hell of a mod there brother!

No but seriously though, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are able to get it resolved in a relatively quick manner.

Installed all the interior chrome delete parts from meso. It’s a simple cosmetic modification but turned out to be one of my favorites.

Woah, that looks beautiful! I can’t wait for mine, the shop that’s been doing it has been a pain in the ass, but it seems that the install will be in early January. Can’t wait!

Hey y’all. I ordered the S&B intake for my Taco. I’m kinda sketched out from the company though. I ordered it from Down East Offroad on November 28th. They emailed me an order confirmation, but haven’t updated me about the shipping. I called once to ask for an update and I was told they’d call me back to let me know, they never did. I’ve called about 5-6 times after that and they never pick up. I haven’t heard anything from the company. Has anyone purchased anything from Down East Offroad?

Sadly, I might have to contact my bank and tell them to dispute the charge, but I’ll wait another week. The issue is that this is literally the only company I was able to find who told me they’d ship it to California. No other company ships it to California due to CARB compliancy issues.

Did your dealership call you to to schedule the appointment or did you need to call. I'm at 3600 miles and it should be six months for me in January. I haven't been driving as much lately since the pandemic and there being fewer social activities to do. Now our wonderful Governor Wolf's new restrictions, closed more stuff again it's not likely I'll get to 5000 miles. I guess they want to do it at 6 months regardless of mileage.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
S&B shows a ton of dealers in state and in Nevada. Maybe the check NV threads for someone who could TW express it to you if you have to cancel the order. You might br better off without it. I pulled and returned my K&N because all it did was make the truck louder. no performance improvement at all.

You’ll need to get access behind it to install. There are release pins to get it out. You can cut the oem L piece for the new usb socket or splice. Also might have to make the hole a little bigger to fit the new socket. Just file or drill a little at a time and check.

I looked up a different dealership near where I worked and called. They didn’t make me have an appointment, I just showed up before work and a buddy picked me up and took me back at lunch.

Not sure of the brightness at night. I haven’t checked it when it’s dark. There is a soft touch power button to turn it off when not in use.

Getting the 12v outlet out takes time and patience. There are 2 square holes in the outlet (one on top, one bottom). Use a pick tool to push the tabs of the plastic surround holding the metal cylinder of the outlet in place. From what I’ve read, the cylinder should totally come out from the plastic surround. This was not my case. I was able to get the metal piece out maybe a quarter of an inch, got frustrated, and carefully pulled it out with pliers. The outlet (plastic surround and metal insert) pulled out in one piece.
