What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

At the dealer for some quick maintenance. Saw this truck that they took in on a trade. If I thought for a second they’d say yeah I’d ask if they want to do a hood swap, and some cash on top of course. I want that sport hood!

I sold my silly, in my opinion, scooped hood for a flat one, I think it looks great!

Added some amber “flair” to my fog light bezels. They come on with the running lights and stay on with headlights and fogs.

Glad it’s not a Jeep. Service roads are part of the road system in California. People live nearby and drive parts of that road to get home. Would be interesting if they denied warranty.

 

Any chance you might have more photos of these on your truck These look great and I checked out the eBay listing, but I'd love to see what they look like on the front wells and how far they extend out the side. I removed my factory front ones to fit larger tires and the factory rear's are attached pretty flimsily.

Also, did they use the factory mounting bolts, did they come with new ones, or did you procure some of your own?

I did NOT use the factory bolts, they just rust away here in SW Ontario. I purchased some SS self tapping with a rubber washer. Note, I have winter tires on so they are a bit taller and wider than stock OEM tires.
