I ordered the stainless torx. The wheels I ordered are Black. With Gray Tint. I'll have em Thursday. I'll post pics

 

Think it’s optional on the SR unless it’s a V6 then it’s standard. I believe the same goes for the driver side power seat. Could be wrong and it wouldn’t be the first time.

 

I am responsible for snow removal at work and got to drive on unplowed roads heading to and from the job: Even with my stock tires my truck handled great! I did put three large cinderblocks in the bed and I'm sure that helped. Should have taken some pics--next time!

 

The nicest part is if you decide to ditch the softopper at some point the arms are adjustable enough that most of the tent would tuck down behind the cab

 

I added the Thule Overcast 4.5 foot awning to my Prinsu cabrack. I used the Gzila roof rail awing mount for a 4Runner. I didn't know if the mounting bracket would work but it did. The only item I had to get was the same exact bolt but 1.5" in length from Tacoma Screw Products

Just ordered a Retrax Pro Mx tonneau cover. Now the wait begins.

 

I have the Skyline towers on my Tacoma, I bought the landing pads early last summer when they were released. The load rating is the same as what you have so there is no real reason to upgrade unless you are wanting to get rid of the round bars.

 

I knew I was wrong. The driver side power seat is standard on the SR5 and up.

 

Ah do you have part numbers for those? The Yakima dealer I spoke with said the new ones hadn't been released yet. The only reason I'm thinking of upgrading is someone drilled out two of the SKS cores and damaged the towers, so new ones are needed.

I don't know which landing pads you have but landing pad 24 has been out of stock for a while, I bought mine the instant it was released and since then it has rarely been in stock.

 

Did you use a harness or splice your own?

I may have been a bit carried away with the Noico sound deadening, but I really liked what it did for the door feel (not to mention the sound) so while I was installing my Mountain Hatch...and then my WarFab hitch skidplate arrived. It was a back of the truck afternoon...

Not so much what I did today, but more of a "hiccup" I suppose happened today.

I took my friend to go pickup his truck from the local garage around 330 CST. It's maybe half mile down the road from my house. My truck is normally parked on the street, so I don't really have to get to thru all the gears in a slow speed zone. I noticed the truck was shifting a little odd, and it was acting like it wanted to "take off (not really sure how else to describe it). Anyways, we get to the shop, I put it in park and wait to make sure he is okay to go. I noticed the truck was idling a little higher than normal roughly ~1000 RPMs. He gets his keys and says he's good to go. I put it in reverse, and go home. Again, seemed like a small shifting issues.

I get home ok, however, I pull up in the driveway (as I was going to leave just shortly for work). When I get ready to go to work, I put the truck in reverse, and it back up okay. No issues. I put it into drive, and there is a delay/hesitation to go into forward gears. It goes into gear but seems to be stuck in 1st. I get up to the stop sign at the main entrance to the neighborhood, and truck stalls out.

Warning comes on saying something to the effect of "Brake Override Issue. See Dealer for Help." Of course, I'm freaking out at this point. TRAC OFF & Check Engine lights are on. (Truck only has 50K on it. I haven't had any brake issues. And the only thing recently done to the computer was the OV Flash/Tune approx. 2 weeks ago).

I put in park, pop the hod, take off the negative terminal, wait about 30 seconds for the computer to clear. Once the terminal was reconnected, the truck fired right up, and drove on. No messages or lights come on.

I get to the post office, check my mail, and disconnect the negative terminal again to "try my luck." I wait about 2-3 minutes this time around. I reconnect the negative terminal, she fires right up, and drove to work w/o any issues.

So I don't know if this is a precursor to a larger issue or just a "hiccup."

Has anyone else experienced any similar issues?

Nice setup. Looks like a -18 offset. Do the tires push outside your fender line? Love those rims but cant decide between the -18 offset or +6 with wheel spacers.

 

I would say failing fuel pump maybe but that wouldn't jive with a Brake Override Issue. Maybe it was just a ECU hiccup.

 

What does this mod do? New to Tacoma/wheeling im in South Florida and do a lot of wheeling in water
