Finished up my stereo. Nothing too exciting but replaced all my speakers with kickers, put sound deadening through all my doors and behind my rear seats and added an inexpensive powered sub. All in all, I’m out less than $400 and I’m very happy with the result. Bad pic but mounted this behind the driver rear passenger.

I’d say yes. The post you quoted the drivers side is at the tire and it has further adjustment (think of the movement on a mini ram ball) plus it is slightly convex but you’ll want to adjust it to work in all scenarios because the adjustments are done manually.

Yes. Part of the reason they are great! Mine are tilted down so I can use the small mirrors to see blind spots, rear tires and rear bumper.

In my opinion if a truck has a tow package these types of mirrors should be standard. It’s weird, even full size trucks have crappy side mirrors. To get good side mirrors you have to have a diesel, option them or go 3rd party.

Mirrors on the 2500HD tilt vertically to see curbing, etc. I have had this mirror on diesel and gassers.

    I don’t consider Chevy/GMC a truck :D

...in all seriousness, it’s good to see there is a factory truck that has decent tow mirrors

Imagine the cost of having a Suburban with a 7.4L gas engine and a 44 gallon tank during the last gas crisis, $175 to fill the tank up and that only got me 400 miles.

I did the same with mine, plasti dip is such an easy mod that helps get rid of the chrome. I'm itching for a pro grille now, just trying to find a reliable place to buy one.

Looks great! Did you remove the emblem from the grille or spray while on?

Yeah I had a Ford excursion V10 at that time. The 10 stands for mpg on a good day. It sat in the garage a lot.

Thanks! Removed it. Was going to tape it off and leave on until I realized how quick and easy it was to get off. Much easier imo. Just taped off the tiny clips so I could put it back on easily.
