That's the shittiest dealer I have ever heard of. I would escalate that claim, and they have to prove a bulb voided the warranty.

Wow, my dealership put the 4Runner Pro wheels, with larger tires, on it for me and even swapped the TPMS in each wheel. They even bought my TRD Sport wheels and tires from me at face value.

Belts, rear end, A/C compressor, composite bed...any of these could be the problem.

First going to swap out the aftermarket for the OEM to take away the excuse and try again the next service. When that doesn't work I'll escalate it. Not a rush to fix just unimpressed with the excuses.

Different noise from belts. Sounds like its under the cab. Not really loud but in the area of the driveshaft.

Myself, I would buy the "stick-on" type, for better field of the spot area.

My buddy likes the midland CB because it can be dual purpose, hard wired in the truck, or battery for handheld use. The antenna can also be the standard magnetic type, or the flexible portable type. We haven't tested out the range yet, but I'm sure it depends on the antenna setup :notsure: Honestly, most use the GMRS frequency because of the ease of use and the abundance of handhelds.

Well, I have been on a kick lately to customize/improve my taco.... (19 SR)
between day before, yesterday and today I have purchased the following.....

Speaker upgrades (yup all of them!) including sound deadening (we all know the 19 SR audio is fair at best)
    https://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-R169X3-Speakers-Coaxial/dp/B00GSUDFP8
    https://www.amazon.com/Connector-Harnesses-2001-2019-2012-2019-Vehicles/dp/B08J4BXNNW

    https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Subaru-H631SFJ101-Tweeter-Kit/dp/B00PV6F8I2
    https://www.amazon.com/Kilmat-Deadening-Automotive-Insulation-dampening/dp/B0751CBXBT

usb power w/voltmeter going in empty switch port, probably going to tap into cigarette lighter power but I’m up for suggestions (it said it was for Toyota but I am not sure about fitment!!)
    https://www.amazon.com/MICTUNING-Upgraded-Voltmeter-Compatible-Cellphone/dp/B08PB972RF

Side emblem black. have an SR so I don’t have side emblems and don’t know if these will work
    https://www.amazon.com/Blackout-Compatible-2015-2020-Marketplace-PT948-35180-02/dp/B08PZBJZ8S

Interior led lights (because the interior lights are kind of dim, like me)
    https://www.amazon.com/AUTOGINE-Bright-Interior-Package-Install/dp/B0834MGNHM

    glove box organizer
    https://www.amazon.com/JDMCAR-Compatible-2016-2019-Organizer-Upgraded/dp/B07RPM19KK

Chrome cover up! (Sometimes the glare blinds me)
    https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/onlin...oma-2007-Tundra-2010-4Runner-BLACK-p193146122
    https://tvdvinyldecals.com/products...oard-blackout-kit-for-2016-2018-toyota-tacoma

Glove box 3d(ish) letter (they look cool)
    https://www.ebay.com/c/25004265030

3D tailgate letter (also they look cool)
    https://empyreoffroad.com/products/...med-raised-3d-tailgate-letter-inserts-plastic

though I took a fair amount of care and did my research it’s possible I got a part wrong (especially the side emblem cover ups and USB power) so please do your own research to find the correct parts for your vehicle

I tried to buy most stuff from Amazon for the easy returns and recommend it, especially if you are a prime member.

I am glad I got the SR because it’s like a clean slate I can make mine with upgrades. Plus I got an awesome price too.

Ya, that's a nice power outlet, but I'm not sure about the light surround. Although, it is pretty cool that it goes from red to blue when charging is complete. You might consider this one to fit the center switch panels. I'm not confident the other one will fit.

For the A/T shift window (which IMO provides the most glare), I went with this in flat black.

I'm very surprised that it would work with the truck not running, since the outlet only supplies 100W in that case, and I would think that the vacuum cleaner would draw more than that. However, I'm fine with using it with the engine running so that the outlet is in the 400W mode.
Yes, I saw that video sometime back, and it is quite interesting what you can and cannot operate from the outlet.

    Thanks for the response.
