The switches are all the same depth. I think the after market switch panel just makes the top ones sit proud of the rest. Happy to take some more photos if you want to see different angles.

We’ve got a cvt in a 2020 rav4 Xse. I don’t like it, when you put your foot down it feels like you’re slipping the clutch constantly. Toyota CVT doesn’t change gears (unless you put it over to ‘S’ flappy paddle mode) you don’t feel any change in revs at all from 0-80mph (sits at around 3,500rpm I’d guess when you put your foot down).

On my 2017 added the passenger side outer door lock/unlock sensor - OEM electric tailgate lock - wired the fog lights to operate with both the low and high beams on.

That is amazing. If I could get the middle one with an AC and rocks, I'd run this on my truck. Also, if I can get the AC truck graphic by itself, I'd love to use it on some other projects I have.

Got a brand new 2nd gen JL audio stealthbox for 60% off. Was able to ram it in the backseat by removing the plastic molding

Was wondering, wouldn't the previous year stealthboxes fit into the 3rd Gen's plastic molding without modification? It doesn't look like the overall dimensions of that plastic molding has changed drastically over the years.

The issue is with the air vent/dam. 2nd gen tacoma and 3rd gens plastic molding are place differently. :(

Yep, same. I don’t know how to really fix it either. I thought about a real small dab of silicone but I ALWAYS seem to make a mess with silicone, glues etc. I’d rather just deal with the frustration than make it worse and have to deal with the mess I make.

I attempted the Screen Protech instrument cluster twice. Got air bubbles both times. FML.

Good to know. I went over it a thousand times with a flashlight to help see, and I didn’t see any. Almost as if they appeared. Thank you for the good news.

Heat helps them go away, that stuff hates cold installs.

I was pretty disappointed with mine initially due to all the small air bubbles even after pushing as many out as possible. After about a week all the bubbles were gone. I wish someone would have mentioned that initially as I removed my first instrument cluster screen protector due to those bubbles. Give it a week or so and they should go away.
