What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

LED replacements have been posted a few times - I posted my LED upgrade a couple of weeks ago - I found that the back up camera dims when the headlights are on - on my '17 TRD OR if I turn the lights off I can see a lot more - just have to remember to turn the lights back on.

Nothing picture worthy, but I moved my dashcam from the gopro mount to stick it to the windshield so my wife stops hitting it with her sun visor. I also swapped out my 3 switch panel with the original cubby hole on the left side. I had 1 switch and 2 blanks there, and the switch was not even hooked up to anything... so I decided I liked the cubby better.

 

My Sport, Ginger is a pavement princess, off the road all winter. Yes, I bought a 4x4 to not drive in the snow.

Added the mountain hatch tailgate in Grey. Matches pretty close to the cement color of the truck. Mine came with 4 extra screws to use in place of the stock ones to rectify the issues they were having before. Install was simple as all holes lines up without a problem. Right now they are having a discount with 20% off! I've been looking at this one because I didn't want to deal with a metal one in the AZ summers.
Also - yesterday I had received the bed mat and noticed a strong scent coming from it. 24hrs later, I don't notice anything, and my garage isn't full of the smell it had either.

Material specs please? Any does and donts?

 

I almost cried when I bought oil. Gassers I typically buy the Napa house brand full synthetic when it goes on sale every few months for $3something a quart. And I buy a ton at a time since I don’t get two months to a oil change. Well, last pickup was 5/30, so I didn’t have any and Mobil 1 was the on sale at $5.50/qt, and the filters for this thing are almost as much as the Powerstroke filters.

 

US Coast Guard requirement. It’s an inspected vessel, certified to carry 24 passengers. I don’t think the liferaft inspection really needs to be annual, but I kinda doubt complaining to the CG is going to get me anywhere.

 

Added this to the tailgate. Tired of spilling my beer and kids sodas.
