Switched to the TRD performance exhaust yesterday. I also have a new TRD oiled air filter. Not sure if I’m gonna keep running the stock paper filter for comparison or switch over to the oiled filter later.

How much of a pain (and how fool proof) is taking apart the roof/ceiling interior.??

.. I am already doing the doors but don’t want to $%#@ up my interior....

5% tint all the way around, except for windshield.
New wildpeaks were delivered today for the sema wheels so that's next.
Also installed a start x remote start and the license plate light delete in reverse harness.
    We're getting there!20210228_125846.jpg

It was much simpler than I thought it would be.

pull the visors, pulled the A, B, C trim, pull the overhead console and the dome light, then pull the rear grab handles and shirt hooks. THen just lower it down. You dont need to take it out of the truck, just lower it enough to put the sound deadener up. Then just put it back up.

I could make a harness that is capable of doing that for you without the error. You need to feed power there but have an inline diode on the reverse +. It wouldn't feedback the system, so it wouldn't activate the reverse camera though. You could even tie it to the cargo light if you wanted. Or have it switched in the cab like you did.

I like those! I wonder how they would look on a black truck?

Interesting.... Ideally I would like it to act as a independent system. I push the button, the reverse lights turn on. No need to tie it into anything else, and I dont need the camera to turn on. I just need reverse lights without tricking the truck into thinking I put it in reverse.

These are matte grey which are a little lighter than gloss grey, but gives an idea.

You should do it! I was eyeballing these, but the width didn't work with the 285s I wanted.

Easy enough. I could make the harness for that. It will be a male/female that goes inline on the reverse lights (there has to be 2 so we can pick up each side). I'll PM you on it.
