Debadged the doors. It’s pretty easy. For anyone that wants to try it all you do is get some fishing line and use it to cut through the double sided tape on the back of the emblem. Just work the fishing line back and forth with a little bit of tension and it should cut through fairly easy. Once the Tacoma emblem is off then there’s the not so easy task of removing the left over tape/glue residue. Get yourself some goo gone and spray it on the glue. Let it set for a few minutes and it should soften it up a bit. Now you can either gently scrape at it with a plastic puddy knife like I did but you most likely will have some micro scratches once your done.. I just used some compound then some polish to clean it up after. If I had to do it again I would buy a heat gun or use a blow dryer to make it a lot easier.. anywho I think it looks much cleaner without the big chrome badge.C8EE138A-C894-4789-B27A-18AA8765D228.jpg

I did a Pioneer 4660. Fit good. Not as nice as the 6000 series, but I didn’t have to get a whole new bezel.

Rubber tip, long soft bristles, brush bends to any shape and easily bends back, no scratching whatsoever in my experience. After I'm done with it I rinse it and hang it up to dry or lay in in the plastic carton it comes in to air dry. The bristles always go back to their original shape.

I use these for around lug nuts and valve stems only:

and these for interior vents/ center console/ shifter, also soft enough for around exterior paint emblems or as I call em wax catchers:

Lol I thought you guys would enjoy my story. Still don't know how it fell and fit between there so perfectly, I tried to pull it out with a strong magnet on a telescopic rod but it kept getting stuck.

The clear coat on the hood of my BBP Tacoma is failing. Took it to Lithia Redding Today. They took pics . Sent them to Toyota. Toyota said there's nothing they can do . They said the Whole Hood has to be painted. Well Duhh. So now what. Can I take them to small claims. Such bullshit. I'm sure Toyota Corporate is a dead end. The dealer said it was Toyota that won't take care of me...

I think they look great just the way they are. Nice to see something besides the TRD SEMA wheels.

A couple of days ago somebody posted a link to LED backup bulbs on Amazon. Ordered them and they arrived today. Went out after dark to take a pic and couldn't figure out how to turn the damn flash off so pic is with flash on. Anyways, they are a lot brighter than the OEM bulbs and they do wash out the backup cam image but I can live with it. Whoever posted the link, thanks.

I'm more impressed that you can fit your Taco in the garage! Must be a short bed?

Drove 77 miles to meet up with another member here to grab the eibach kit he was selling.

Got amazing fuel economy on the way. Had to take a picture to remember it once it's lifted with bigger tires LOL

Then took the microskiff out fishing for a couple hours and watched the sunset on the water. Caught a few black drum but nothing big. Still a great day.

Now to order a driver side spacer for the lean, a diff drop, maybe a new top hat kit (instead of reusing them off the stocks) ... Then again I'm really still unsure if I want to use the eibach stage one in the front or bite the bullet and get the eibach coilovers... I'll still use these eibach rears and blocks...
