Yesterday was final weld day on the sliders, they came out great. Also peeled the b-pillar vinyl. Just the right amount of kickout which will look awesome when I get my Level 8 wheels and some fresh Duratracs or something put on. 20210306_172446.jpg 20210306_172456.jpg 20210306_172517.jpg 20210306_172519.jpg

Yea I need to look for a pump. I haven't searched that hard yet. I've read where some work with the bottles and some don't so I guess I have some research to do. I did read where the fill nut needs to be taken out first. Don't want to drain it if I can't get more in...lol. I also had to get a 24mm socket so I'm almost set. Appreciate the heads up and hope your trip is going well. Been following the action. If passing through the Atlanta area and need anything let me know.

If you drill out the factory bed drain holes, be very careful on the drivers side as the fuel filler hose runs very close underneath it. Ask me how I know lol

I swear my QI charger ruined my LG Android. Phone worked fine until I charged it a few times. I noticed it was hot as hell and started having issues shortly after. Got new phone and havent dared to use it again.

I was thinking of a generic QI charger that would attach to something like the . The QI phone charger would be similar to this one, that I have in my work van, from Amazon that allows you to just drop the phone in place. I haven’t really thought this through too much or looked too hard into it. I was more so just responding to the question I was asked in general.

Cleaned the interior, and With the pollen being brutal the last few weeks I switched out the cabin filter to the one with the part# 88508-04010. Looks to be a better made filter than the original one.

I was afraid of that. Both of our phones get very hot as well and then stop charging.

I'm not sure, haven't had experience with his product, but the videos toward the bottom of the product page on Amazon are accurate.

Too many since I joined TW...
I never had the Meso set so my review is a little biased. Buuut to me they seem like they are exactly the same the only diff is the meso ones are more of a black tint and these are a gray tint

I haven't driven on them long enough yet to see how much of a hit I take to MPG, I don't think it will be terrible but I'll try to update once I get some numbers.

Performance wise, braking and acceleration slightly. Hard do determine how much is from the increased weight or if it is somewhat mitigated, if at all, by the tires being skinnier than stock. Weirdly enough the acceleration from zero feels almost smoother (?).

A little bit less feedback from steering. A little more roll/mushiness on cornering, but its a truck with high clearance so I don't expect or want anything to be sports-car like in that regard.

White steelies would look great! prolly not on greens/other earth-tones though like my truck. I was heavily debating getting these steelies powdercoated a dark matte bronze but never got around to it and once the tires came in I didn't want to wait.

The QI charger seems worthless, like others mention, since it can’t charge faster than your phone is draining in many situations. I’m assuming if I remove the QI button off of the dash the default setting will be “off” on the charger. Anyone know for sure? I’d rather use the space to install a USB charger like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MVTDZ5Z/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_DKKDYFA0SQEPCH5R1143?_encoding=UTF8
    It’s got to be faster.

New hardware for the tailgate reinforcement I bought from @Rob Daman . Backup light with caliraised bed bracket. And Wilco spare tire carrier with tire cover. It’s a matching tire and wheel like my other ones.576566F7-765A-4709-A136-26A86A659C04.jpg8B63E73A-59DC-4B9B-A8B1-4D1FB7E593DD.jpg 3D4B5884-32A4-4396-AE90-58781D9FF588.jpg00372782-31EA-4958-B786-13ECE8E63F2A.jpg

Yes, between the bed and cab and one at the bed corner.I tucked all the wire around so it’s a clean install with almost no visible wire.
