This is example of why it’s sometimes best to pay extra for reputable/name brand. As for wheel spacers those brands are spidertrax and bora. Anything else treat it as a gamble

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Most of the poles are sitting on the Prinsu roof rack and pelican cases on the bed rack. One pelican case is deformed from all the weight of the snow. If I'm careful that will be about it but one is about 1/2 inch from the windshield. I covered windshield with as many towels I could fit under it. Hope to have it out by next weekend.

I've had no problems. Maybe they're under new management?

not exactly the same and if you look closely it’s all in the details. The meso housing is equivalent to a oe replacement. I’m also sure the guts are of higher quality. The light diffuser is also different (but I forget the 2 methods/styles for this). I had a post from way back comparing 3 brands.

It’s another one of those you get what you pay for. Everything else is a gamble and styling preference

I think MESO works in concert with Diode Dynamics to mass produce their items. But I could be wrong in that.

I’m guessing MESO collaborated with Morimoto for the V5’s

Is the hood salvageable? I am looking for that color with a scoop!

Yikes! My neighbors have the same setup as you and the snow crushed the roof and broke the rear windshield on their newish Camry. He was able to get all of the poles straightened out and he reinforced a few poles with some lumber.

I'm sure if the price to fix it was cheaper than a new hood the insurance would've had it fixed. With the metal stretched so much it would need to be cut out and patched to be done correctly. Sorry.
