So it begins lol. This site wasn't lying about set aside more money after buying the truck.

Bed rack and toyo open country at3 265/75R16 did a few weeks back. Then the meso interior chrome delete AG green style.

Today added ride rite bags in the rear (which now has added a new issue, even at minimum I have some noticeable rake going on). Also set up with daystar cradles right away, not even going to play the wait till I go "damn it I should have done that when I put them in" game. Pic was before lower plate was centered and tightened.

    20210313_130711.jpg

Then began wiring up box for offroad lights and such. Spent the extra this time and bought the pre-wired box set up from Auxbeam. I wired the same style box myself in my CRV, that was tedious at best. Got a piece of aluminum plate to make a bracket for the box, and all the cables were plenty long (except for switch panel plus which are stupidly too long) to run from passenger side if not too picky on routing. I ended up extended the battery to box section so I could maintain a nice, clean routing through the engine bay.

    20210313_160026.jpg

Though now threw me for a loop because I could I could hear a relay click when I powered the box up. Confusing till I realized I had all the buttons turned on lol. Also they put the "aux" wire at the battery connection. That's a new level of stupid as that wire should be routed inside the vehicle. Still gotta screw with that, but should slide in where I ran the cable for the switch panel. Have the "ditch lights" as they seem to be called, wired up so far.

I was confused for a second too. In the picture the truck is on a lift or stands with the suspension at full droop.

Actually, I like going places in my 1st gen, more.
When I drive it, the places I go, stop at, speeds I travel at, are not logged.
I despise that of the new Tacoma.

I like my new Tacoma a lot less, since learning of this after the fact.
Every time I drive it, the APP tells me.
If I turn the truck off, the APP tells me.
If I leave the door open, the APP tells me.
If I leave the windows down, the APP tells me.
If I do not lock the doors, the APP tells me.
If I leave the tailgate down, the APP tells me.
    I hate being Micro-Managed.
