Nice work. Curious what the plug gab is, and is that gasket set needed for the plug service? TIA

At Rock Your 4x4 in Knoxville. Awesome guys, did a fantastic job, and their price made it totally worth not having to do it myself.

Really, this was yesterday but I was too tired and dinner was on the table. I'm catching up now.

Installed the Smittybuilt x20 12k winch.

I should now be able to get out of those precarious parking spots at the mall.

I wouldn't say behind, just different...could be worse, imagine I'd you drove on the "wrong side" of the road and sit in the passenger side:D...so yes, could be worse...until you drive up to Canada (...or if you go to Europe) and you find yourself scratching your head when you see signs that show 110...kilometers per hour...or $1.13 for 1 litre of gasoline :D:annoyed:

The last time I was in England though, the Highway signs were in miles for distance as well as the speed limit signs were in MPH. Go figure the English were trying to hold on to the English system of measurement. I wonder if they still do a yard of beer at pubs or is it a meter now.

I made an auxiliary front wind fairing for the sunroof option on my Bravo @upTOPoverland roof rack. This helped cut noise down a lot that was coming from the front face of the top mounted bins. The Bravo rack is very quiet otherwise... I had never used a strip heater to bend plexiglass before, but its actually very simple. Pro tip: build a good jig to fold the plexiglass over at the right spots. The strip heater took about 10 minutes to make the 4.5mm thick plexiglass able to be bent easily.

I sourced a piece of black plexiglass from a local plastics company here in town (they also have stuff on Amazon its just a little more $$ or not in a customizable size)
This is the 48" strip heater that I used: https://www.interstateplastics.com/Plastic-Strip-Heater-Accessories-HTCREA.php

Some of the angles aren't perfect, but you'll never know it. I had no idea if it was going to turn out or not... Not bad for my first try!

That is quite awesome, and something I may try to replicate. Thanks for the write up. One question, my Bravo rack is in process. How did you mount your Pelican's to the Bravo? Did you go with their hardware or fashion your own? I'd like to find a secure option to not drill through the case, but looks like there isnt too much out there for this method.

I drilled through the Pelican's to mount them. Pelican did come out with some roof rack bins this time last year that have latches that lock, but they're in high demand, so I haven't seen them in stock anywhere.

    https://www.thecasestore.com/Shop/Accessories/Case/Cargo-Case-Hardware
    https://www.thecasestore.com/shop/accessories/case/cargo-case-hardware/roof-mount-universal-clamp

I can't fit in my garage either way, so I don't really care if my cases stay mounted. These are also pretty good cases for their price point. The ROAM cases are popular now but don't seem to hold up as well (rusting latches, etc) but still cost $300 compared to these Pelican's $200.

Took a little road trip yesterday. I like the way it drives. Road noise is not bad, (really quite compared to the Honda Element we just got rid of) engine seems a little loud but I think they all are nowadays. The lane assisted steering takes a little getting used to. On the way home I used it and it will almost drive itself on the interstate.

I love the “Panic” button. What is it covering, and where did you get it?
