Nah, just planned everything way in advance since I'm so far from town. They even baked the paint on so I could take it home the same day.

 

Removed the air dam, slapped on some earrings, and then finally got my Diode Dynamic ditch lights that I purchased back on Black Friday mounted!! With a switch that matches the amber(green) lighting.

This was my first lighting/electrical mod done besides popping in Meso’s MAP lights and LEDs for the license plate. Very exciting

Got my Diode dynamics ss3 combo pods in yellow mounted to my coastal offroad bumper! Super excited about them.

 

You can put a USB in there but it has to be formatted in FAT32. I ran into this problem with a 128gb low profile usb thumb drive that wouldn't work in the truck. I then randomly came across a thread here on TW where someone posted a link to the Verbatim site that had a FAT32 reformatting tool for download. Now it works like a charm and no wires running from the dash to the console for my old Ipod.

Today worked on fitting the JL 10TW3-D4 10” sub in. Using the factory box it fit with the rear and seat plastics removed along with taking out the child seat restraint. Seat lock up and the sub with a mono 500 amp works like a champ. Very impressed with this sub!!!

 

I made mine from wood. Oak to be specific. Corrosion is not an issue, the wood is well oiled.

 

Use a heat gun to loosen up the adhesive. Then use goo gone automotive to remove the rest of it. It’s kind of a pain but I personally love the clean look. I completely debadged mine using a heat gun and goo gone.

Ok cool. Thanks for info. I have a pin striping that I kinda like(was on truck when I bought it) but it goes right through the TRD decal on the bed. Or I should say stops at decal then continues to tail light. Looking to eventually do a custom vinyl thing on rear of bed and possibly tailgate

 

Is that custom paint or the army green?
