I was just talking about 3m's fluorescent yellow wrap in the Socal spotting thread yesterday and seriously pondering the idea of wrapping my truck in neon yellow. :D Love the neon green on the methods. Plasti Dip or powder coat?

Washed and waxed the other day, today while working on my kayak I decided to move my shovel mount over to the other side of the bed rack so I can put my paddle on it. Fits great! (BTW, im using a ATV gunrack as a shovel/paddle mount)

Had a hard time spotting the truck in the last picture - blends right in.

thanks guys! They’re powder coated, the bedsides are vinyl, and the door emblems are automotive paint. Need a little color pop to contrast the camo

Okay, finally got the RDJ Trucks Streamline flares on. Did one side, then had to go visit the Easter bunny, came back and finished the other side. Now that it's in the sunlight, the paint on these RDJ Flares is almost a shade brighter than the factory paint. Other people dont notice it but I do. I'm hoping with a few weeks in the sun, and some rain, it will even out and match a bit better. Also, there were some micro blemishes in the finish. If I could describe it, it looks like someone dropped a cheesecloth on the flare when the paint was wet. Barely noticeable, and not enough for me to ask for a refund or a redo from RDJ. They do offer a 3 year warranty on the paint, so if it continues to bother me, I may see what can be done.

Install was pretty straight forward. Factory flares are held on by some 10mm screws and double sided tape. The RDJ flares are 10mm screws, and a rubber gasket that goes around the outside edge to prevent scratching. Putting that gasket on was the hardest part of the install. What a bitch.

All in all i'm happy. Outside edge of the flare is just about even with the outside edge of my 285/70's. Hopefully this will take care of the debris getting kicked up on the paint. Here are some pics.

Finally got around to installing a bed rack on top of a Diamondback Cover. Ordered a short bed version so I could still open it up. Unfortunately had to drill some new holes into it, but it should be alright.
