That's a horrible idea. What time?
We face south, so it's either early (which the neighbors may not like with the power washer) or late. One tree is almost big enough to provide shade in the late afternoon.

What you’re seeing are “water spots”. Which really are dissolved minerals in the water that stay once dried. As @Foster Imposter said, dry it with a clean soft towel or use a Water blade first then a towel. This allows the final towel wipe down to be much less. As long as the truck is clean they don’t scratch. onlhttps://www.waterblade.com/us/10k-archive/

I try to do the same, early morning or early evening to avoid direct sun. Now if I could just stop the Oklahoma wind long enough to get the truck clean...

It was evening with no direct light. I just didn't dry it at all.

Thanks to everyone for all the input!

Someone else mentioned it but I’ve used a leaf blower for years to dry my car. Works great. Still have to follow up with a microfiber towel but it takes no time at all.

I always do that and have an electric leaf blower for that purpose it also minimizes the amount of wiping which in turn cuts down on micro marring

Thanks, started thinning the herd last year. Sold my 1989 Honda Valkyrie and a 1995 KLR650.
edging toward retirement so dropping down to three bikes, ADV, GSXR-1000R and keeping my Husky TE-450....although a buddy just got a KTM 690R thats pretty nice!

I just use the old manual car wash, which is actually pretty nice, it has a blower attachment but prefer to hit the highway at 80, then head home and wipe down with a microfiber.

Same here. A blower will dry a vehicle in no time.

Are those the OEM LED headlights or the Alpharex TRD-Pro style ones?

    Looks sick!

This I do not prefer because when you drive tons of dust and dirt is being kicked up so then when you wipe the paint you know what happens. If I were to use an auto carwash ( which I would never do now) I would then hop out and dry it on the spot
