Got a little orange goodness mounted today. Used Victorys accessory plates along with Maxtrax pins.

He stays in the back. I took his hammock out while doing the install and hadn’t put it back in yet.

I am hesitant to let my dogs in my truck at all. I fear they will fuck the seats, doors, center console. Been eyeballing some Carhartt seat covers. Still won’t help with the doors or center console.

They also like to climb in front when we leave the car, so the dash would probably get scratched up too. Might be softtopper time.

I don't leave my dogs in a vehicle unattended but I did buy a cover so her claws don't dig into the leather and I can throw it in the washer and dryer to get the hair off.

Yeah unfortunately sometimes I have had to leave them in while running into the gas station, etc. For now I’ll just make the old lady drive when we have them. They’ve already shredded her shit up so :itllbuffout:

Added recovery points. I had thought about changing the bumper, and decided against it20210402_145358.jpg

I was gonna go this route but read that those points are not meant to be used for recovery. Am I misinformed?

I have no hesitation - The dogs ride in the bed. That's why i got my Tacoma, (among other reasons), and added a topper. They've never seen the inside of the cab. Dogs are just rough on vehicle interiors. Working from home, me and my dogs are together all day every day, so they can tough it out riding in the bed a few feet behind me when we travel. :)

After the $1300.00 shock therapy from the dealer to replace the gas tank( yes, the whole tank), I decided to investigate the Evap hose leak to see if I could do a fix. The tech showed me where it was leaking so it wasn't too difficult to pin point.

If this doesn't work, next step is to replace the hose. I really don't want to start tearing into that area. Looks like a royal PITA.
I got myself a handy little gadget froom Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0836XWPJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8, and voila! found it!

Picture isn't as clear as looking live because its so wiggly tying to hold it steady.

Put some sealer adhesive on it, so we'll see if it will do the job. fingers crossed and prayers uttered.

    But...changing bumper is good.

Finally got some Wheels and Tires to go with the Icon suspension. Was hoping the 285's would fit without rubbing but looks like a CMC is in my future.Taco2.jpg

The demon brackets are for show, not go. They are not rated for recovery. The only rated one is the ARB.
