Reminds me of my days on toyota nation. Someone had a t100 on 37's stock suspension. Lots of cutting was involved...

I do think it is better than the original Plasti-dip. There is more flexibility to it, I think it’s tougher/more flexible if that makes sense. I expect it to stand up better over time... for my application that’ll roughly be 5k miles or so.

The application process is different than normal plasti dip but easy nonetheless. Would definitely do again and likely will with a different color for a new look.

    Thanks!

If you get the tech package, with the parking assist, etc. you get the color bumpers. I was only slightly disappointed about the chrome at first, but this will do until I can get a high clearance bumper (which is pretty far down the list)....I'm considering a bedliner coat or something like that too.

There’s torque specs for a reason… is what I would say! I believe 2 differing which if used, makes removal of the plastic a Breeze. I’ve only done 2 changes so far but none have been a hassle (I had an aluminum on standby since the first only because of this forum)

Almost daily… unfortunately  I bought 3m cavity wax for my tailgate but there’s so much dirt/crap sticking to the factory wax in the tailgate I really want to clean it out before I spray… open to suggestions? I tried sticking my hand in there and wiping it up but that didn’t really work and just spread it around

This time it was installing the screen protector on the gear selector but since it has small scratches/swirls I decided to polish them out first but instead of just polishing in the truck I needed to remove the center console and disassemble said console to pull out the individual piece. Turned out like new then installed the protector. (I had that boot off for the polishing)
    B4DCFF64-C970-4EBF-A3F3-E257FDA84742.jpg
side note- for a company that has screen protector in the name, you’d think they’d at least cut them true to shape. My 9 yr old could cut it better with scissors. I’d line up a flat edge and corner then 2 other sides were off/overhang. Tried the opposite side and then there was a gap not covered.

since the console was out I replaced my black meso Easter egg with the golden goose… since the stage 2 stealth pro shifter/ect/front camera is easily a top mod. Also touched up the threads on the shifter with a black paint pen.

I seen a member that did a rear usb mod and I noticed in their picture (newer grn3) the wires for the center console outlet had that soft/flexible sheathing so since I happen to have 2 boxes full of 4 different sizes I cut myself some 3/8” and added some
    FEC1D1AC-3900-47BC-A0B6-24B8540363C5.jpg
I noticed when the console was out the 3 red clips nearest the lid were missing and tabs broken (I guess during the multiple times I had the panel out I wasn’t being as careful) so I had to fish them out below the box. I tried plastic epoxy them together and it looked solid but when I reinstalled and tested removal the epoxy didn’t hold and clips came off. It holds secure without so not sure if I’ll look into replacing (Ive replaced every broken part whether small or not to this point)

and as always vacuuming behind the removed panels/floor board in this case before putting it back together. Since it was out, vacuumed the whole truck but somehow ran out of time before making my way down to the mats/carpet

Not sure if you figured this out. Look for the small Toyota OEM switch style. There is a tall skinny and a small one. You need the small one.
Here is a link to start your search, this company makes tons of switches.

Between plastic-dip coatings on my grill, I put in the Anytime Front/Backup camera kit. Follow the provides instructions and don't follow the random YouTube videos. It seems these kits vary slightly between manufacturers for your year Taco.

I put the camera just above the license plate frame so I could reference it as the thing that sticks out furthest from the bumper.
I also plastic-dipped the silver mounting brackets for my grill lights. These were the only ones I could find for the TRD sport cheese grater grill.

Should I have just gotten an aftermarket TRD Pro grill like 90% of everyone else on here?
