What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Great write up. While I think I'm find with my BSM - I could always use brighter. I was aware the spotter mirrors were less bright - so was thinking about this MOD.

 

It worked on my friend's 2017. I already installed a pop n lock on my 2016. I would have preferred this oem one than my pop n lock.

I had some extra polyvinyl sheets by 3m that i used to protect some of the outside of the truck , my shoes kept scuffing the bottom portion of the seat everytime i got in truck. Works great , you can buy different sizes on Amazon . I just cut them to the size i needed .

 

Washed and waxed using Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic. That stuff works awesome

 

All done with the Coastal rear bumper, made a flip up License plate bracket that hides the hitch receiver aswell.

I DIY'd. It was just enough of a pain to get the hole the right size and location that mid project I was thinking I should have just sent it in. But it worked out ok in the end.

Thanks! It took me a while to get the nerve to drill the holes. I measured like 20x, had a few beers then went for it. LOL

 

Honestly, if you’ve got Prime, I couldn’t beat this price shipped to you I don’t think. Maybe I could come close but for what I’d make I’d rather sit on them if I needed them to be honest.

I bet. Not a comfortable feeling. I had the same feeling when I installed my front bumper. Truck was barely a week old and I'm cutting a brand new bumper. Ends justifies the means though. congrats. I have the diamond plate HD and almost went with the smooth. Seeing yours makes me wish I got the smooth.

Plan on putting a RTT on the rails? Or just extra storage?

Yeah, I went back and forth between the standard finish and the smooth finish. To be honest, I like both. I only went with the smooth, since I had planned on going with this setup and I figured it would be easier for me to drill the holes on this type of finish. I'm sure it's the same install either way, but that was my logic.

Yes on the RTT! I just ordered a iKamper skycamp mini a week ago, and can't wait to get it!!

We have some camping trips planned and hopefully, I get it in time.

Yep. Diamondback HD, which I absolutely love so far. I ordered the Front Runner bars in anticipation of a RTT purchase in the next month or two as my wife has decided that it looks a lot better than sleeping on the floor. Who am I to argue?

 

I've had my 19' taco for a couple years and have just started to dive down the customization rabbit hole. I'm having way to much fun and the list of things I want to do just keeps growing.
