Simple Green is corrosive to aluminum although it takes a little time especially undiluted. Its ok if its rinsed well. For me it stinks so I use leftover wash suds or diluted citrus based cleaners with good results.

Nicely done! Liking the low profile and tidiness of the front end. Always curious about effect of added weight with all the products. Good to know!

I don't care what people say. I tried it. It's a PITA to get up there, and a royal PITA to get down and out. It also hangs down lots. I can't imagine trying to pull that tire down in the weeds to change a flat.

Sweet! Got mine on order. Should be here around the end of the month. Went with the 12.5º and no kick out. Can't wait.

Check out the link to this website, Simple Green is one of the most environmentally, friendly, cleaners and multipurpose. You can dilute to whatever ratio needed for the project. The soap had a nice lifting quality so the debris can be removed.

Yep. I have used a 50/50 mix to detail my engines for like 20 years or maybe even more. Basically since simple green came out. There has never been an issue whatsoever. I use Simple Green for just about everything around the house. Great product.

Nice! You’ll love them. Extremely well made. You can tell just by looking at the welds. Install was very easy. I had help but you might be able to do it on your own! Not real heavy. I would put the bolts in before you try and put on the sliders. Some of the holes had some paint in them so pre-drilling made it easier to put them on.

after 1500 miles it showed signs of rubbing on the sidewall facing the bed. It was bad enough that I felt it wasn’t worth the risk of losing the integrity of the spare.

It also hung down and made clearance worse. Top that off with the damage done by random rocks to the rims. (while I don’t mind rim rash, etc I’d rather not cause it myself if I can avoid it.)

I added a pic of how bad it looked. It was also off center to make it fit as high as possible so it was worse than even this picture makes it look.

By the way, you can buy a spray bottle at Smart and final for $4.99 if you buy it from automotive stores it’s about $7.99 and you can easily buy it by the gallon but you just need to find the appropriate store like smart and final or restaurant supply.

    Brand new. Coming soon.

Here she is. De-badged. She needs a lift, new flares, wheels and tires.
