My phone gets used for other things. Mostly off-road navigation, which the CarPlay fails at. Bluetooth to my fridge. Bluetooth to my solar. Google searches when I'm in the weeds. A few other things.

Well the problem is my gf liked the idea of lifting my truck and buying new wheels/tires. Liked it so much she wants to do the same with her truck

Installed a set of RCI rear lower link skidplates and rear shock mount skidplates. RCI ships the kit with inexpensive, shiny zinc-plated hardware which would create a strong contrast against the black powdercoat and would be clearly visible from behind the truck. OEM bolts are all zinc-flake and/or zinc-aluminum coated, which is a matte finish.

Rather than use the supplied hardware, I ordered some Black Luster nuts and bolts (not to be confused with black oxide finish) from McMaster. RCI provides 4.5" carriage bolts that are longer than they need to be, I switched them out to 4.0" bolts and used loctite instead of lock washers. Painted the carriage bolts with black lacquer spraypaint. Can't see the rectangular zinc track nuts once installed, so no need to paint those.

My husky bug deflector finally arrived. The hardest install part for me is to remove tape covering. I have the smallest fingernails to grab it i had to get a knife to lift it. I like the look . Installed on the truck in little time.

Very simple install. The lower link skids take about 1 minute each, it's literally that quick. The shock mount skids are a little more fiddly because you have to fish the tracknuts inside the structure of the shock mount. It's not hard but annoying. Maybe 5 minutes per side.

Installed the tailgate applique/spoiler from Cali-raised. I actually had it on for a few weeks hoping it would mold into shape a little better. The fitment is 8/10. The sides stick out a little and overall quality is just decent.
