Not in New Brunswick. I think it might depend in the dealer. Some like to add dealer added options to jack up the price. Luckily they just put a tailpipe and tailgate letter inserts. Don’t care for either, but it’s too much work to remove.

I can't use a topper because I haul a motorcycle sometimes, but I think the 4th gen is the best looking Tacoma to run a topper I've ever seen. Something about the body lines really mesh when running one. Kudos.

I agree, earlier gens have kind of a rounder roof and the topper is a little lower or flush with a valley between it and the cab.

I'm impressed with how the topper is notched to match the rear wing. Also when I was peeing (2nd floor, so I saw the top), they also made both sides higher. I should have taken a photo..., of the roof of course.

You could get a small trailer for the motorcycle if you have a need for a topper.

Are you referring to your 6mt not having side steps? If so for ‘24 the 6mt trucks are not premium trims.

You're right, the 2 Premium trims in Canada have running boards. All the others don't unless dealer added. IMG_0297.jpg

Exactly! But I don’t care for that fake carbon fiber look. But I’m sure someone will eventually make a plain black one if someone is already making these
    Thanks for the link!

Oh wow it doesn’t even cover the entire thing, huh? I was thinking it must’ve popped right over the white part… oh well, I’m sure someone will eventually make the entire piece where you will pop the white part out and replace with a different color

I swapped loaners while mine is in the shop. New transmission arrived, but didn't have a torq converter (part is back ordered) and the shop foreman would not put the old one on since the rest of the old tranny was packed with metal filings. Pissed that the rig went down with 2500 miles on it; thankful the shop has a no bs mgr.

Quite the bummer.. does help with the glare though since my trucks trim is white. But little bit misleading from the advertised photos.

I find it strange that the premium offroad has the chin spoiler and the hybrid offroad as well but not the base one. Not that I am complaining

I don’t recall seeing the chin on my neighbour’s OR Premium, but maybe he took it off.

Looks like the OR Premium doesn’t have the “spoiler". That's a good name for it, it does spoil the looks.IMG_5457.png

    Probably for improved fuel economy.

    It's an ARE V-Series.

As an aside, I've now gone down the roof-rack-rabbit-hole that I so wished to avoid. My old j racks, pulled off the stock bars of a 5G 4Runner, don't really fit on the new bars like I had hoped. BUT... I'm sold on keeping this crossbar setup because I really want the simplicity. SkyLines and Rapid Podium have far too many connecting points (parts that can fail when hooning) and aren't off road rated. Plus, I'm looking for that 90s mountain man Tacoma look so simplicity is key.

Installed the Rough Country rear shackle kit. Easy install. Decent price. Solid rear recovery addon.

Also got the Rough Country fenders installed. I will do a full thread on those things since I found no real reviews yet. Teaser pic for now. They make this truck real thick. From the side its nice but from the front it looks super goofy. Some other mods next week should give them a fair judgment.
