    My Truck came with an OEM one and I removed it to install this one to try to reduce glare. This one is substantially less glare than the OEM one and I'm very happy with it.

    Installed the Miller cat transmission and catalytic converter protection plate today. I did it more for the transmission protection than the catalytic converter as the catalytic converter is so high up, I think it would be difficult for thieves to get to it easily.

    Why pay $100 for OEM protector when you can get not only the center display but also the dash, climate controls and the shifter protectors for less? This is what I'm about to get. Check out screenprotech

    Do you have to remove the whole plate or are those access doors in the right place and big enough to change your oil and filter?

    No plate removal necessary. Access plates provide ample room for dumping oil and changing filter. But that didn't stop me from putting a Fumoto valve on to make the oil dump easier/cleaner.
