I barely jacked the rear up and got it out surprisingly easy. I almost felt like it wasn't needed. It's such a better looking rear without the huge tailpipe sticking out.

That's entirely debatable and stated as fact.

Rough Country is looked down on in most serious off road communities. There's certainly a reason their parts are cheaper. Those reduced prices have to be made up by reducing the cost of manufacturing or source materials or both. You get what you pay for.

Appreciate you! So far I've done a tone of browsing. Going to take my time and find the right wheel and tire set up. Maybe wait till Black Friday sales?

That just makes sense. Always a reason for lower costs. So far the only thing I have purchased from them is the floor mats which should be here tomorrow. Considering getting their Hood struts too.

Other things I'm waiting to arrive are the Black emblem overlays and the tailgate insert and the front turn signal LED switch backs.

Anyone installed ditch lights yet? I’m thinking about getting some of those little rigid hyperspots for driving dirt roads at night in the forest.

I'm sure that kind of stuff is fine. I mean... floor matts aren't there to do anything but get abused anyway and a broken hood strut just means you have to go back to lifting it on your own. Personally, I would avoid RC for anything required for the vehicle to be functional... so no lift kits, wheels, and arguably no protection (skid plates, sliders, etc.).

Yes stated as fact based on my experience and all the stuff I have bought from them. While I have not bought everything they sell they are fine and back their product. Just because something in the off road world is inexpensive does not mean it is bad, or junk and no you don't always "get what you pay for". Plenty of wannabe small mom and pop people popping up and the trying to sell their "PREMIUM" stuff and because they are making/selling such small quantities they have to sell at a higher price. Does not mean it is better quality.

Very similar to beer. Plenty of people only drink small brewery beers (and pay the premium price) and turn their noses up at anything mass produced claiming their micro brew is far superior. Not always the case. Just saying.

To each his own. Buy what you like.

An argument so old there's even an adage about it:
    1. Cheap
    2. Reliable
    3. Capable (usually fast, but Tacos aren't that target market)
Pick 2, but in the case of Rough Country, option 1 is already selected for you. So it's likely to either be unreliable or incapable. Like I said, it really all depends on what you're purchasing. Floor mats and hood struts, sure. A real lift with the intention of taking it off road, probably not unless you're ok with things breaking.

In all seriousness, just Google "is Rough Country a good brand" and look at the number of references to "garbage" that come back. Now take that result and weigh it, risk vs reward, on what you're buying. Do you want to put safety in the hands of a brand widely regarded as garbage? Probably not, so I say avoid key components like suspension, wheels, brakes, skids if you're wheeling, etc. Does it truly matter if your floor mats are from a company widely regarded as garbage? Probably not, so go on with that floor mat purchase. I wouldn't personally, because I like quality above all else, but there isn't exactly a lot of risk in a floor mat purchase.

My truck is still northbound on the train, but I've got Cali Raised ditch lights ready to go. Does that count? Youtube 'em.

Have you taken it to the dealership? I was told it's the ac clutch not connecting right away. They also said they don't have any parts.

The smaller I don't think you can get the big screen in a manual in Canada

Lasfit floor liners. We will see how they hold up but quality and fit is better than expected.

Man, those appear to fit a lot better than the Huskys I got. I appreciate the icon showing that it's a driver's side mat

I had ordered the Rough country floor liners before I saw these but I'm not unhappy with them. They arrived today and I just put them in. They cover more area than I expected. The rough Country logos are a 3D decal you can easily peel off if you want no brand showing.

A lot of these mats look like they won’t contain water.

If that's what you need, then probably not. I didn't have any floor mats so this is clearly an upgrade. If I used the truck for adventures or activities that would bring a ton of water, dirt and mud inside, I'd wait for a more heavy duty set.

For the everyday driver, I think either of these will be enough. If I have issues I'll be sure to report back
