They are the Toyota tie-down rings for the gen 3. Got them on Amazon. They're pricey but I wanted the swivel.

They bolt through the composite bed to a plate with an attached nut. Mounting hole is 7/16. Not sure exactly what the bolt size is. I have another set ordered that I can measure.
Sounds like you want something more like these:

Search for "ring eye bolt" or "lifting eye bolt"

Oh wow, so you mounted that through the steel. Ok... not quite what I'm looking for. I'm trying to use the existing hood bolts (hood side near the a-pillar) to mount something that I can attach a strap to and work under the hood near the window. Same place as you'd normally bolt in ditch lights.

I got these, and others, but the mounting side hole is just a little too narrow for the bolt to seat completely down in it. The thread goes through, no problem, but there's lip at the end of the threading that's just a bit wider than the thread. A condition I would normally say "whatever" to but it's quite literally holding my hood down.

Have you thought about just getting ditch light brackets without the lights? They will fit very securely to your hood and have a hole on top where the light would mount.

that's a really good idea for a canoe tie down too. Excellent tip. Thank you.

I have and that's my "f it, I give up" solution. I'm shooting for a relatively clean look so I'm hoping to find something I can hide under the hood when not in use. But... I've already priced ditch light brackets should I fail in that quest

Finished the rear platform for my dog. Ended up separating the top seat from the bottom to make it more comfortable for him.
Blacked out the front Toyota badge and added the Cali light pods.
    Added the LOMAX tonneau cover.

Put in the awful AWFL OEM mats today… talk about underwhelming, at least I got them on sale and I’d rather wear them out than the carpet ones… gotta keep those mint for resale in 25 years!

The letters are raised. I thought they were printed on before. So they will get marred & gunked up quickly…

When you get it all installed, how about kicking off a thread for RSI Smartcap in this 4G forum?

Starting on a new truck gun build today. Kodiak brown is a pretty good match but the pictures do now show it.

No instructions or videos available and the 4th gens are different enough that I'm winging it. May need to reconfigure some straps and secure a few flaps better once they break in but happy so far.

Installed the tufskinz mud guards. They look ok, but I don’t see them lasting very long. They are hard plastic, not a flexible, rubbery type of plastic like I was expecting. If you’re looking for mud flaps I would advise against the Tufskinz

Installed these RCI bed stiffners. Had the opportunity to get what I thought was a good deal on Metabo impact driver/drill combo and used it on this project. Ended up satisfied
