Mimicking the "what have you done..." threads. This one is for Land Cruisers (Lexus LX & GX welcome too). There are quite a few of us out there. Let's see some progress!

A few updates from this week:

    New Bridgestone Dueler AT tires.
I trusted the shop, which was a mistake, they put P tires on instead of LT so they're fixing that on Wednesday.

Received and installed my @Bajarack Friday. Took about 1.5 hours, including removing the stock rack. I only needed help twice. Moving it to the table for mount install and then moving it onto the Cruiser for final installation. Definitely a good deal and a sturdy rack. If anyone is interested I can do a quick write up on the install, but it's pretty easy. 2 people could get it done in under an hour.

Did a little light wheeling at Reddington with the AZTW crew. Good times and then enjoyed dinner and Cubanos with some great people. I couldn't wheel like I wanted, I'm still on stock suspension.

That looks great! I'm probably going to get the ARB 2500 awning with the full room so I won't need a RTT but will still be able to camp comfortably.

That will be nice! We just sold our RTT and got this. Fits what we will be doing more of in the near future (twins on the way), won't be camping in a RTT anytime soon. Are you active at all on IH8MUD? There is a pretty good group in Tucson. We try to alternate between doing a run and local meet every other month.

I'm on IH8MUD, but spend most of my time here. I'll be leaving Tucson soon, starting a new job in Virginia this Summer.

No pictures yet, but I picked up my ARB 2000 awning and Smittybilt XRC 9500 winch today. Brandon from Avid Offroad is awesome and is hooking me up with a front bumper before Overland Expo. Also picked up my lift springs this weekend and made my first long-ish trip, averaged 12.86 mpg from Tucson to Phoenix.

Move the ugly 80 out of the picture, and post some of the beauty of a 62 there....

Ha ha. Thanks. The 60 gets preferential treatment and stays in the garage most of the time.

I've considered one as a daily, but the MPG isn't much better than my 80.

My 80 gets 12.86 on the highway, the 200 is listed at 18 on the highway. I think my Taco is about the same. I have a few months until I'm going to buy so I can think about it for a while.

Just got back from the test drive. It was nice, had air conditioned seats and drove real smooth on the highway. A little pricey but the idea is growing on her.

CD player didn't work, cassette player didn't work, antenna is broke and only picks up 1 station. So I replaced the stereo.
