98-00 also don't have holes but will need those specific corner lights.

Thanks! I like it :) I need to park it on level ground so I can see what needs tweaking, but overall i'm very pleased with it so far.

For sure I need to rework the passenger shock, or get a longer one - when I did hte ubolt flip, I think I got the lower shock mount too low, so its at full extension sitting in my garage (floor is not flat due to floor drain). OR, I have the wrong shock. It'll need some investigation.

Technically they are the same shape. But the way they mount is different. The 95-97s use two screws on the outside that screw into the fender. The 01-04s have that compression clip thingy.

Im not totally sure if you can put the compression clip on the 95-00 fenders or not honestly.

Nice! Care to elaborate on how you combined the two and why? I'm looking into doing my exhaust at some point and am trying to learn as much as possible.

All the parts I'm putting in are OEM or same quality, so I figured everyone knows what those look like.

I figured the 21 year old, used and abused parts would be more fun to look at...

    Edit:
For anyone in Houston area, look at my album, "work done so far"...
if you need any of those used parts, let me know, I will hold on to them for a couple of weeks before I trash them.
I will also post in local FB groups.

Ahh thanks for the info. I’ll get them to work as there’s not much left of the front at this point.

I spent the day recovering after a hard day working on my 1st gen yesterday. I replaced the sway bar end links and greased the drive shaft. So glad I did the end links, the boots on both of them were cracked all the way around. Now before you die laughing at all my hard work, take a look at my avatar, and you'll understand the needed recovery time. My dam arthritic hands hurt worst of all. I want to know how everyone is greasing the zerks on the cardan joint. I can't get my grease gun to snap on, and have to use a needle valve to grease them which is a major pita. Sorry no pics of the arthritic hands.

My grease gun doesn't snap on to the zerk fittings easily either, it takes some pressure and moving it around while applying force to get it to attach. It can definitely be a pain to get it to connect to the zerks that are tucked into the cardan joints, usually getting it to disconnect is the more difficult part for me

Stuffing a rag in there to wipe the grime and dirt off the zerks makes it go on more easily IMO.

speaking of grease guns, what brands does anybody recommend. My brother has a cheap piece of crap that leaks all over you while under the truck. I've looked at the pistol gripped LockNLoad and the Mcnaught K32. Anyone by chance using the PTS Pro Tools Solution grease gun coupler. I went ahead and purchased the Holt grease gun that harbor freight sells for $26.00. Seems to be made of decent metal, and at least it's not made in china.
