Lets start with what you are offered? I saw not too long ago a 4 door with what looked like just tires and wheels, and maybe a 3inch lift sold for 19k it had 110k miles.

    I wouldn't.

It's setup great. Just keep driving it and enjoying it. Unless you don't like doing that, I wouldn't sell it. You'll regret it pretty quickly I'd imagine.

plus it has some parts you just can't get any more which is cool. But building a new truck won't be as cool unless you're wanting something specific in which case..buy another truck, build it up crazy as hell, but keep this one so you can still go to the woods and have fun.

But depending on the miles, I wouldn't think it be worth more than 8-10k. I suppose more with the right buyer.

I don't want to say what I was offered that will only get people to say, yeah about right, too low or too much. I want to get opinions without influence from anything.

I have another Tacoma I want to 4 link, crawlbox, lock and SAS with fj80 high pinion front and full float rear I can get cheap.

I seen a 4 cylinder all banged up sell for $10,000 with a small lift, skids, sliders and no front locker.

This is the one I want to build, I have 3 of them.

    20210207_150958.jpg

And I love offroading, I go all over but I have gotten to where I drive my Samurai 90% of the time and I hate seeing it just sit parked and the money would go a long way in building this one.

    sam.jpg

Samurai has 85 4Runner front and fj60 rear with 6.5 to 1 transfer gears.
    I may just keep it.

Today I had the “five-year-old son puking everywhere in the front seat mod“

I highly recommend this mod if you want to see exactly how fast your truck can go. I think I might’ve gained 20 hp with this mod today.

On a sidenote my truck is now completely detailed in the front seats and console area

Working on a rear swing out bumper, only take 6 years to get around to it.

Simple green and a scrubbing brush attachment for my drill. Took about five minutes to bring these back to life
