Does anyone make high-quality replacements for the side marker lights or am I stuck with the eBay special? The Toyota part is discontinued

I'll definitely take that into consideration. I'm sure it would be much cleaner.

You're probably right. I've never really dealt with embroidery so Idk. I like the patch idea though. Plus I've already located some nice ones on etsy.

The drivers side was a bitch. I had to cut off all the brackets including the ones off the original bench and weld them back on. There was a lot of back and forth of test fitting and grinding/ rewelding (I'm not the best welder). The passenger side brackets were all bolt on. So all I had to do was cut a couple bracket studs so I could place the bench brackets where they needed to go. If you can find some seats with bolt on brackets, it should be a fairly easy job. And yes they're super comfy! The lumbar adjustment is a godsend!

Do you have a link by chance? I have a bad drivers side housing and would like to replace my tail lights with an LED upgrade.

Here is what “smoked lens” look like

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/382136659919

Keep in mind this is for an older tacoma 99 and such years
So to make it work you just need to connect 2 wires together on each side
    Very simple

Do you have a picture of it off? I never expected to potentially like anything similar to turd gens on these trucks.

I ended up going with the Spyder ones mainly because I think the red lense looks more “OEM”. I still might order these though and swap the lenses since i like the light design more on the ones you have.

Edit: so I now Have these coming

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/402440110509

    and these

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/264203777256

Gonna see which ones I like more on the truck and might play around with swapping the lenses too.
