Kicked out the caved in passenger door and installed a new outside door handle so I don’t have to break my fingers on the broken inside handle anymore. Ordering a new handle soon when I order the new antenna.BF0459F6-F86A-41CC-B3B9-F70DCC90E9B8.jpg
Removed the muddy seat and gave it a bath so I don’t have to sit on towels when I wear clean clothes. C56D035A-BA69-4939-B984-32F757D76E06.jpg Not today, but recently removed the large lug 21mm hex nuts on several wheels and installed new ones with 19 mm heads so my impact socket can fit in the recess for the lugs. Now I am down to two different sockets to pull wheels. 19 mm and the special locking lug socket. Just have to find a matching 15 inch alloy so my spare can match.

Also, read thread about dealership scratching someone’s alloy rims changing tires. Thought about bringing my truck to dealer and complaining about scratched door.

Looks like you are running a 4runner hvac control unit too?

You have to pull the unit out and take it apart to replace them. Its a 10 min job at most.

    Thank you!

Honestly not sure, they were put on the truck at some point prior to me owning it! I was a little surprised to see new calipers considering the truck only has 125k miles!

If the cams were ever removed and the scissors gear preload wasn't set this could cause some noise.

Been a while since I've done anything to my truck. Last couple of days has been prep work for frame repair and 63s though.

Since the system is sealed now, I put in drain holes with plugs if water somehow gets in. I closed up the factory drain holes years ago.

Changed the oil and a CV too.

So what's the benefit of going with the 63's? You're keeping it SOA right?

Yup still SOA, just more travel without breaking the bank. Leafs are good for the extra weight too which is nice.

Got all my belts (including timing belt) replaced along w/new water pump & thermostat. While he was in there, my tech also swapped out the nearly 20 year-old original radiator with a Koyorad unit. He installed new hoses and coolant recovery tank as well.

Next on my list: stainless steel brake hoses, a valve clearance check and replacing the weeping valve cover gasket on the passenger side.
