What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

My icons had metal sleeves I them from the PO, maybe those are still on the lower mounts?

 

@JKO1998 All 4 mounts are the exact same size on the truck. When I pulled the bed off to restore the frame a few months back I checked to make sure there were no sleeves left on the mounts. I was expecting them and didn't see any

 

Here's a picture of one of the new metal sleeves but even the outer diameter of the sleeve is small than the shock mount post

 

Everything about the eyelets is smaller (except what i payed for them)

 

That part number is a universal shock with 5/8" eyelet. You need 19mm ones.

I see a toolbox in your bed in three pictures, but it seems to be missing from the first. Do you remove the toolbox when in camp?

 

Yes I can take it out in about 2 minutes so I can sleep in the bed easier.

Nice! Any special tricks or specific (lightweight?) toolbox you used to make that easier?
