Back to what I did to my 1st gen, been over the last few days but new spare tire rack with a slide out drawer and floor jack mount. Also took it for a cruise around the block. Was nice to have it start after sitting for a month and half

I mean, it’s none of my business but when you continue to get the same reaction over and over, maybe it’s time to look at the man in the mirror @Uphillshunter. I don’t have a dog in the fight but I do follow this thread and two days straight this has been going on with multiple people. Just saying you’re the common denominator in all this, maybe you’re a bit abrasive in your interactions, I don’t know…I’ll go back to lurking now.

The LR gas tank skid plate is a nice piece. Factory one is the top one. Installed in '17.

    Yep... that must be it.

I should just know my place. Don't question the authorities. Don't ask questions, just use the search bar. And stop having opinions that are specifically mine, and about my truck.

    Got it.

Just did mine yesterday. It was so easy it was stupid. Don't know why I took so long to decide to order it.

Yeah…that’s not even close to what I said. Is that really what you took from that? C’mon man.

Fuck it. I’m gonna go ahead and do what plenty of people have done in this thread and just put you on ignore. You know that’s why people you’re tagging aren’t responding, right? If I wanted to see some petulant child pick fights on the internet I’d hang out on Facebook. Best of luck on your build dude. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

Today was my annual rustproofing day. 7 bucks for a bottle of gear oil. Used my fluid film spray kit to lightly mist the everything but the exhaust system, used the extended wand and 360 degree nozzle to give the interior of the frame a good coating, also up on bed sides and over all the wheel wells. Still need to pick up a can of wd40 to spray up into all of the weep holes in the rocker panels and doors. That's how we roll in the rust belt!!

Set up a pelican case with all my ‘keep dry’ supplies.

    spark plugs
    Air filters x2
    Oil filter
    6quarts engine oil
    6 quarts diff oil
    Drain pan
    All diff and Tcase gaskets
    Rags
Extra clothes (cause driving home soaked in swampy mud for 4 hours sucks)
    Hand cleaner

Keeping 2 empty 5qt oil jugs in there as well. Ready to go for the next time i swamp out my Taco lol….

How big is the case

I actually pulled a pelican from the roof to make room for a sunshine panel.

Had a 1650 from carrying tools to work overseas. It’s been sitting in the garage for a year without me using it. So finally put to use.

nice, I have a cascadia panel on my hood.

Yeah, that is definitely a big boy case. Nice!

Funny enough I was watching a vid earlier today on the cascadia panels (the vid was for a Jeep). I just checked and found the 1st Gen Taco version. How is it with mounting, any issues? Have any pics handy? I need to look into this. 70w + 100w renogy up top might just be what I'm looking for.
