Damn, 1/4"? I thought the taco lean spacers were 10mm?? The install is the same as you would be installing a suspension lift like OME. Gonna need a spring compressor (generally a PITA) or take it to a shop.

I think it goes on top of the strut, not inbetween the coil and top plate

it does.... it's the spacer from toytec that goes on top of the strut.

True, but in order to use/install the longer bolts the assembly needs to be taken apart. At least that's the way it is with the 1/4" spacer I got from Toytec.

Best I can come up with at the moment...
Haha yeah, neither did I when I got the spacers. When I realized it needed to be taken apart, I said F THAT, NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!! And took it to a shop. :anonymous:

WAIT...... you need longer bolts? I emailed them and asked specifically about that and they said I don't.... wtf?! will any decent shop have those?

Well hell... I was looking at the Toytec site and noticed the spacer 'kit' comes with the new studs and the single 1/4" spacer doesn't. It doesn't mention what size the spacers are in the kit. I just went out to the truck and measured, and the spacers are more like 1/2" haha. I guess there was some miscommunication when I went to Toytec to figure out the best way to get my lift back after the armor weighed it down.
I assume the single 1/4" doesn't need the longer studs then. If that's the case, then the job is cake.

Put the driver's side frame on a jack stand
    Remove the tire
Put a floor jack under the LCA
Remove the bolts on top of the strut
Lower the floot jack and slip the spacer in and reverse what you just did to reassemble

Wtf? Lol I would just buy two of the single 1/4 spacers then

if that's the case of just lowering the full assembly... I won't need an alignment right?

You probably have to just because the truck will be sitting a little differently. I would anyway but I'm religious when it comes to even tire wear, pressure, etc. haha

True, not absolutely necessary. Like I said, I'm religious about it though. I'm sure you could tell from the KM2s haha
