I've tried putting them in backwards and it doesn't work. The female threaded end of the cam assembly sticks out much more than the head of the bolt that sits behind the rack.
It hits the rack when you swap it.

I've never been able to remove the rear cams/bolts without undoing all the rack mounting hardware

I hope you got good quality replacements. I bought some cheap ones on fleaBay, and they scattered the light like crazy. By the way, if those old ones are OEM, I'd pay the shipping to get an extra set. I've gotten pretty good at renewing them.

I had a set of those, and unfortunately, they are different backspace, and may induce a bit of rub on the upper A frame and on the frame behind the wheel. It depends on whether you have a fairly square edge on the tire (i.e. mud terrains) or more rounded (like an all season).

Inside the doors and the back wall are the areas that make the most improvement.

Careful work with a heat gun will clear up the scratches. Also, a great idea to put a piece of heavy sheet metal under inside the lid. Otherwise, if you lean on it with your elbow when getting in, eventually, it will fracture.

I understand Firestone not wanting to touch the SPCs. You want your lower as far forward as it can. Adding castor with the upper will bring that closer to the firewall.

UPS lost a tire for me somehow. Not sure how you see 4 tires and only load 3...

I don't know about my shit in Chicago... but Jen's shit delayed in Tracy CA is not especially promising.

Ask anyone from this area and they will tell you that the Tracy FedEx facility is where packages go to disappear.

It's like that building is an f'n wormhole or something.

I usually don't find much to comment on. But today, I was playing catch up and lo and behold, many comments from different pages, just all piled together since it was middle of the day and no one was posting!

UPS is by far superior to FedEx imo.
The number of times I've had a package "delayed" or show up 2-3 days later than the ETA is ridiculous compared to UPS
