What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Me too. Trying to get further away from Bend. Too many tourists...

 

Two weeks ago i picked up some aluminum wheels and tires on FB Market, $250...with 50% tread left:265/70/17. I sanded, primed and rattle-canned them satin black.
Had them balanced and mounted today ....Might add a spacer to get them to lineup with the fender flairs. Next up however, is the shocks and remaining rubber suspension parts. 198k miles on this one.

No. Tween boy.. I actually went there to rent games because it was down the street from the house we were in.

 

I used to rent VHS tapes and NES games from Blockbuster. The local video store was closer but they smoked so much in there that it’d make your VCR and Nintendo smell like ash trays.

 

I remember when the local blockbuster sold all the VHS tapes for like $1 each when they switched over to all DVD. Used to rent gamecube games there too.

Welded and painted my bumpers and installed a snorkel. (First time ever welding) woohoo also thank you coastal offroad!!

Those look great in there! They're fairly similar to RSX seats. Definitely a massive improvement over the factory torture devices!

 

I want a coastal so bad. Do they have the hitch receiver too?

Only when they first see. Then they realize they too can't have said cool thing exactly as pictured and are sad their money can answer their problems

 

It's a strainer, not a filter. Rinse it clean with transmission fluid and put it back in. The only reason you'd need to replace is if the strainer is damaged.

As far as part number goes... There are at least 2 or 3 different variations (that I am aware of) with the valve body and strainer. It would be difficult for anyone to give you a part number for the one you need to replace the one you currently have... without additional info.
