Your key is probably worn around the tumblers. Try a different key.

Now we're getting somewhere. Mine did something like this. I had to bend the little tab that the lock deal sits behind. It was just trial and error.

Thinking about either plasti-dipping or rhino lining the front/back bumpers on my 04. Any suggestions? I'm gonna sand off the chipped paint (if I have to) and go black probably. :)

With my dbl cab my passenger seat is pretty far forward, passengers knees are in the dash. That's with the carrier style car seats ( small ones) the newer non carrier that can turn forward or older toddlers take up even more room! Dam kids!

so has anybody with a 1st gen double cab tried to do something other than the stupid dual 8" subs behind the seat? i have 2 8" kickers back there and tbh they just dont cut it for me... i want to clean the earwax out of my ears with the bass... basically im just curious who all has gone with separate bucket seats in the back and how much space is between them... i drew this out so you guys would have an idea of what im talking about... i know 10's arent huge but with the little space back there it may be what im limited to... but i want a box to come down between the two bucket seats and hold two of the kicker 10" solos and the amp. this is just a basic drawing.. but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks guys!

I decided I liked the hood protector on better than with it off. So, I bought new mounting hardware for $12 from my dealer and re-mounted it. No more fluttering even on the freeway!!!
