Ah without an impact its hard because then you need to try to do the breaker bar and hold the shit still. Maybe an electric impact like @betterbuckleup has is in your future?

I think it just might be! I thought about using the Jack under the breaker bar method too but I have a feeling it’d be hard to hold steady and would just end up slipping off the Jack or off the nut.

jobbie job jobs... I’m prior military with a PMP certification and an active clearance working in a project management function. In Huntsville, that’s equivalent to having a job cannon that shoots you off into job land.

My wife is a Pharmacist and there’s a nice sized medical district here too, so she basically has a job cannon as well. Lol

I do make my way down to the Mobile/Biloxi areas often though because We have family down there.

I'm sure if you reach out to somebody in the Bama thread they should have an impact you could borrow. Or just buy a good quality one since it comes in handy, I've used my Milwaukee a shit ton and it's paid for itself already

True. I have the 1/2" Ryobi impact but I don't think it has the cojones to break that nut loose. It's okay for small jobs, but pretty weak breaking strength.

I'll keep an eye on it. The URD pulley came with the SC so i'm just gonna run with it starts to show signs or symptoms that it needs to be changed. I did look at the Pulley Boys pulleys and I actually prefer their look over the URD ones. Good prices too.

Designed and 3D printed an iPhone magsafe mount that goes where the airbag switch goes.
It's a 2 part design. One piece clips in to the airbag switch hole and has 2 hex nuts embedded in the back. The magsafe piece then gets screwed onto the clip. The actual magsafe is press fit in with a spot to route the cable to the back behind the dash. I wired in a 12v socket and used a PD3.0 capable (needed for magsafe fast charge) usb-c adapter.

That's awesome. If I didn't need my airbag switch these days I'd be interesting in doing this. Can never find a good place or device to mount the phone.

Absolutely! I'm just down in little ol Auburn, I had thought about Huntsville, but I like the smallish town life. And my job is awesome.

There's a bunch of guys up there who I'm sure would let you borrow an impact.

I used to tune into the bama thread more often but it just moves so fast. lol. Not to mention life just being busier than normal lately. Great group of guys in there though, for sure.

    Thanks!

Mine must have just been SEVERELY cobbed up. The motor seems to run WAY better. I cannot tell from the attachment but perhaps it downshifts more quickly when you romp on it which might explain why it seems "more responsive"?
