What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Uhhh, yeah one of em definitely is gone or the threaded neck is cracked. These aren't even the good military Sceptre cans (just regular Sceptre home grade ones) and they survived a week in the desert on their sides exposed to the sun without leaking a drop or smelling even....

 

Yeah well I hope its my last one, all the plastic ones ive bought in the past just break and leak eventually. Going forward theyre always gonna be upright. If this one goes, then i’ll buy the one you said. thx

These are great cans too, I really like em but the form factor is awful

I hate 95% of gas cans on the market

 

I don’t think very many gas tanks are convenient

 

Agreed, second onboard tank is the ideal solution. But a Jerry can (the normal form factor) has options for being secured to a truck. There's probably something like that for those motorcycle cans too but they're a good bit fatter at the bottom so be harder to fit em places.

 

Aux tank is definitely the way to go. If you have to pack gas cans around regularly

I have two of those cans he posted and after 5 years living under the bed they are still leak free. They do take forever to fill is the only problem I have with them.

I hate those because I have to use them at work. I have old nato cams at home that work wonderfully

 

I have one of those, I hated it, but only ised it for filling up my mower, the cone always picks up debri. Cant put it in my bed I have a shell and I sleep in ther, cant risk it spilling in my bed.
