What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Eh, prior service means nothing.

Some people are just favored and catch breaks or get away with doing what they want.

I caught 2 bans for posting a box; meanwhile several others were/are violating the exact same rules without warning even.

 

You should've just said it was the box for sale and any contents came with the box. You did have pictures of said box. I mean, it was a nice, name brand box...

What's funny is, I've been a long term member of many other forums, and a moderator to one even.

New in box means just that, new in box.

No seal broken, no bags torn apart, nothing.

My ad stated it was Local Only which would defeat the "potential rip off" as the box would be opened right then and there by the said buyer.

Anyway, end rant.

Back on subject - installed a tiny subwoofer.

1st Gen Tacoma's have more room underneath their seats than 3rd Gen 4Runner's; lucky.

 

I pick up the LC in a few $1300

That said, I’ve made an “Escape from LA” joke or two about all the CA refugees moving to NC and never got banned. Maybe I just dodged a bullet. Doesn’t sound like something to ban someone over though, IMO.

Took out a leaf from my Dakar pack. Starting height was about 2.5” higher than front. New height is about 1/4” higher than front. Much better rake profile and much softer ride. Don’t haul much or tow anything, so the spring rate will be good for a while. Happy with the results!

 

Replaced 20 year old console armrest.
