My truck started running like crap yesterday and was throwing a misfire code. I changed the plugs and wires today and it cleared right up. I also got a can of plasti dip and did my grille today. This stuff is awesome!

or put them in series instead of parallel if you want more resistance.

    ^^This

Effectively he made a 116 ohm resister out of the 5 580 ohm resisters.

From what I've been reading the resistance isn't the issue. It's the wattage. You have to run resistors in parallel to add the power handling of the resistors p=iv. If I go parallel it will restrict the current and send more to the relay on the light circuit, telling it there is a bulb.

First I tried 2 resistors and the light would only come on with the key in, 5 resistors allows the light to come on with the "on" switch and no key. But when I flip the switch to door it goes out unless the key is in.

Lol, when I was weighing the pros and cons of my truck before buying, I considered the 5 rock chips and one crack across the entire width of the truck a pro

Careful with your window heater on cold mornings. Let it warm up slowly rather than blasting high heat. I had a similar chip on my windshield it ran straight across one morning when i had the heat blasting warming up the truck.

Those aren't gonna work unless you run some big wheel spacers. I couldn't fit them on my 2003.

I've heard that those rims come in 2 different back spacing options depending on whether is came off a solid axel or ifs rig. But if I can remember correctly they will all fit. I believe that the sas ones have more back spacing 4.5.

Mine fit no problems. The only snug part was the bore because the person who painted them laid it on thick. No rubbing the calipers or anything
