I bought the part off eBay. I paid 38 shipped for a used one.

Install is easy. Remove the steering column cover and there will be 2 screws holding the switch in. Unplug it, unscrew the 2 screws, and it'll slide out. Install is the reverse.

I believe extended cab and double cab share the same mounting holes. Since single cab is a full bench, only 3/4 holes line up.

Do the sliders mount to the planted brackets and to the chair?
I just assumed I would need both not one or the other

@Henrytmoc I was thinking the extended cab bracket would be more likely to fit too and put that in my cart.

I've done a mod or two
The planted brackets are much nicer and well thought out than the ones from mastercraft. I'd switch if I did em again. The MasterCraft seats use the same generic bolt spacing as other seat brands

I thought you were just referring to the MasterCraft stationary bracket.

I've never heard of the planted brackets before now

Corbeau makes sliders that fit perfectly,
They have a dual track and a single track,
They slide back and forth, adjustable

Did a little work to my truck over the weekend. Bought new headlight housing, parking lights and blinker lights(haven’t put blinkers in, waiting on new lower valence) then bought the HID projector retrofit kit from the retrofit source and installed them. What a difference it made! I questioned if my lights were on all the time but these things look great and are super bright.
Also bought a new Sony headunit, kicker component speakers, back up camera and sound deadening material. I removed the entire interior of the truck and installed 2 layers on floor and roof then did the inner and outer skins of the doors. The truck seems so much quieter and it sure is nice having a backup camera and Apple car play. Didn’t take many pictures of either unfortunately. 47977A75-13F6-4D74-8A90-48CEB7CF0489.jpgFA30C44A-9FB5-46CF-9B5D-EDA46AD35582.jpg

You can swap in an intermittent stalk out of a 97-01 Camry or one from a 98-03 4runner. Easy plug and play.

How is the leg room with your setup? Did you lose any space? My old back sure can use proper seats. Mine are in great shape but they were not good when new IMO.

    I had 4Runner seats before,
4Runner seats are fat and wide and no support.
The Corbeau seats are thinner and sit lower, so you get 2” extra head room and a little more leg room.
    These fold forwards too,
They hug you tight but more stiff ride

Doesn't the 4Runner stalk have a rear wiper control on it?

Loosing height on the seat is something I want to avoid. I'm not a tall man and I like seeing over the hood

Not a bad problem to have, adding height is usually pretty easy.

I was running an Integra Recaro in my taco, but feel like it was a little bit low...ended up trading it for a pair of Evo 9 Recaros and love it. Definitely sits a little higher.
