Sometimes I get slightly better prices and faster shipping from LaGrange Toyota; but I do agree with the comments about McGeorge.

For me Lagrange is always faster and cheaper for me, but I'm right across the state line from them. They have two websites, one is more expensive for some reason.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Put things on pause today on my kid's 4runner. We're making plans on some stuff.

Turned attention to a few little things on my truck. Just some things we were talking about doing during, and after, our recent trip to Death Valley.

Replaced the snorkle head with a pre-filter. Added a second Pelican on the rack.

    20220308_170543.jpg

Found a better spot for the shovel... lol
Also got a hitch pin lock to lock up the swing out. We normally have everything, pretty much, in totes. So, even though it's open under the rack, you're not getting anything out without opening the swing out.

Added safety wire to attach the clips to the red handle pins, so we don't lose the clips... again.

    20220308_171220.jpg

Added a couple Milwaukee boxes that we'll use to expand our first aid kit.

If can still roll forward slowly with my e-brake on in drive does that mean I need to adjust my rear brakes a bit closer to the drums?

CBI sliders, ADS extend travel with compression adjuster coil overs, 9” Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, Icon Tubular UCA, Alcan custom leafs, All Pro Apex bumper and skids, NWTI rear diy bumper, 295/70/17 Cooper St Maxxs and nitro 4.88s.
You can adjust them, but the e brakes just suck in these trucks

Got it. Last time they were adjusted was when I replaced the shoes and which was my first time so they probably could use a professional adjustment too. And I had a feeling about that lol.

How long ago was that? I usually adjust mine once a year or so

I fought and fought my ebrake for years. Finally ended up pumping lubricant into the rear portion of linkage that spans between the adjuster under the cab and the axle. After moving the cable back and forth manually about 20 times it started to ease up. Still works pretty well… that was my last ditched effort though since I’d done everything else I could think of.

I mean adjusting them only takes 20 mins. Definitely worth doing

Today's oddity: a few weeks ago, I accidentally dropped several mid-size bolts down the vent at the very front of the dashboard (just beneath the windshield). Thought I would never retrieve them. Today, I found them both lying on the floor of the passenger footwell

My guess is that I changed around the vent/heat settings in a manner that allowed them to find their way out one of the footwell vents. I'll take it!
