I know it might sound crazy but I have had way better customer service when I order from Wheeler's page VS Low Range. I was trying to get correct bushings for the rear shocks and low Range gave me a part number and said good luck after I had spent $2500 on a lift kit

I spent $300 on shocks through wheeler's had the same issue with the eyelet bushings and when I contacted wheeler's they over nighted me the correct bushings at no cost and apologized for the delay in my build

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

That's wierd... cause Low Range and Wheelers are both owned by Trail Gear now. Last few orders from either have come from TG in Fresno, for me.

Ok... so just so I'm clear. (I'm a little slow). You just flip those around to set them how you want them? It's just a kit that I don't have to specify when I order? (because I don't see different choices).

    Trying something different.

New Durobumps on the back. Modified (shortened) Wheelers Superbumps, with a full base made of 3/16 stainless under them in front.

Okay hoping to get these one in the next week or two when my new tie rods and LBJs come in. What’s the trick? Heat the spindle with a torch then weld it in?

Exactly. 3 setting is all you get. That's why having SPC arms in kinda a must for them. You can dial in camber and castor which no other arms let you do.

    Already got the SPCs covered.

He’s also tubbed, but if I recall you were going to 35s next so you will probably be tubbing the firewall soon enough then?

It's a WAY better bang for your buck them cam tab gussets. Like orders of magnitude better. When you install them ignore 333fabs instructions about torquing them to 110 ft/lbs. Put a 1/2" impact on those fuckers and crank them down. I did and mine haven't moved a mm in 2 years. Not that I wheel hard though. lol

Sorted this all out and got it ready for install.

Hoping a 1 inch body lift will limit the amount of tubbing.

Also may have a line on some Solo LCAs, which may limit it even more.

I'll tub what's needed after all that gets installed.

Have I mentioned how much my wife loves it when I sort out my shit on the kitchen counter?

Interested to see how it all turns out. I’d like to replace my body mount bushings and I’ve been toying with the idea of a 1” body lift as well.

Hopefully, if that cam eliminator kit gets here, I'll also be reinforcing the cam tabs, and eliminating the cams that weekend too

Let me put to rest the idea that a BL and SOLO LCA's will make you less likely to tub.

The issue people with 33's have is at the pinch weld. Most people push the tire forward via after market control arms. Then they beat the weld flat. Cool. problem solved.

Now you move to 35's. People seem to think that same thing is what needs to be done. It's not. As you increase diameter the pinch weld issue is still there. It's easy to solve by properly tubbing the firewall.

What also happens as you increase diameter is you start to get MAJOR contact at the upper inner fender at full stuff. The further you push the tire forward the WORSE that contact becomes. A BL will help with it for sure but it won't cure it. Putting on SOLO's will make it worse not better.

The only way to do it correctly is tub, tub, tub. When you think you've taken enough take another 1/2". Then you will be completely rub free like I am. Without a BL, without SOLO's and with a real 35" tire.

No more pinch weld so no more pinch weld issues. lol
