Did you relocate that battery? I tubbed the shit out of my firewall and still almost needed to move the battery. I managed to just get away with a big sledge and let my battery do a gangsta lean. The factory airbox got the same treatment and I needed to move 2 of the 3 mounting holes. Interesting you don't get into the firewall at full lock with stock SOLO LCA's. I don't know of anyone else running that set-up that hasn't needed to tub the firewall.

Yes I can also confirm that you will indeed be deep into the front inner fender with 35's on the Solo LCA's. I rub it a good bit already on 295s.
Any more and I will most definitely need to relocate the battery and ditch the factory air box for a cone filter.

Unless you gimp your uptravel, but nobody wants that if you actually wheel your shit

Did you tub the firewall as well?

EDIT: NM. See your on 295's. They should clear with just beating the shit out of the pinch weld.

New springs are firm but not harsh.

Not for my 295s, but damn near everything short of it.
10lb 36in sledge and went to town on the pinch weld and firewall. Was close to needing a body mount chop.
That was to clear them with factory arms though. I have plenty of clearance there now with the solo arms.
Only rubbing I have now is the front of the inner fender.

    Battery went to the bed.

I had been wanting to move it anyways to help save what little is left of my inner fenders.

DF1E43D7-F868-4E28-96A4-9BD7DEB60E44.jpg Finally got the caliper slide pins replaced. They were so rusted that they would not come out without a whole lot of persuasion. Everyone of them ended up bending while removing them, so new ones with brake grease were installed. The brakes no longer drag. The previous owner didn’t do too much of the basic maintenance. I’m slowly getting the truck done correctly!

Let me go check my box of lights. I think I hung onto the lenses from the set I stole the wiring pins out of to add to the Anzo taillights.

I checked and I must have tossed those lenses.

But I do have these from the 03

The electrical tape is just there to keep everything together so the seals dont get lost

Did you still need marker lights?

Herculined the fenders and installed new fender tabs. Miss the fenderless look already to be honest.

That’s what I’ve heard. Had some laying around so I’m experimenting with it. Better than them being faded. We will see.

The herc liner faded on me in less than a year
The spray can raptor liner seems decent so far, some something like flares anyway.

Gotcha. I’m not even sure the fenders will stay on long enough to know.
