What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I drove it to a rest stop in Wyoming. Maybe I'll drive to one in Montana.

Terrible to hear of all the destruction from the flooding.

 

Did this yesterday, but got the bedsides cut to match the front fenders. Now I wait for parts so I can continue.

Where did you get it? Mine is pretty rough, I'm thinking about replacing it.

 

I just ordered a new rear bumper off ebay. All hardware included ~$160. Fedex is dropping it off today.

Are you happy with the quality?

 

looks good to me. Came with all necessary hardware to include lightbulbs. Most vendors offered black primered or chrome options. I chose black, feels like aluminum. Steel brackets etc. probly gonna spray it with rustoleum black hammered.

 

That’s the same one I have, it’s lighter then original one but good enough for me. I just unbolted the old one leaving the brackets on the truck and the new one fit with no issues.

I did. I figured out which two pins on top of the sending unit to test and hit 1.4. I need to now figure out where on the ECU to test the wires and see if I’m getting the same reading there. I did splice this wire to extend it for the fuel cell. So my splice might be the issue. Now I’m looking for the diagram for the ECU 3.4 AT 4x4. Thanks

Not as heavy.

 

Got up early before the sun could beat down on me and changed out the rear shocks. Going to rebuild the front this weekend. I’ve been using PB blast for a few days to soak all the hardware.
