Been just lurking and learning but I finally did a bit of work on my Tacoma today. How the day started:
    upload_2022-8-13_21-30-13.jpg
    Freshly powdercoated @4xinnovations bumper.

    How we ended up:
    upload_2022-8-13_21-31-37.jpg
Thankfully my neighbor was excited to help install the bumper, which made the work go much faster.
The powdercoater was impressed that I took the time to grind all the edges round - looks great and they were happy to not have to deal with sharp edges. While under there, I also did the breather relocate trick, the breather runs up into the space behind the left hand tail light.

Never even thought of this. Perfect solution for me as still have a plastic liner. Think I will do the same this morning

Installing vband clamps is about as easy as it'll get. Would be annoying to deal with everyday.

Love how well they labeled everything too. That's not a bad price either since I definitely spent about that same cost on materials and the hydraulic crimper to do the same setup.

Finally got the bedliner done, didn't want to spend much money on it and didn't want to do it myself. After reading all the prep work that had to be done it wasn't worth my time and headache, so found a great guy on offer up 400 dollars. Linex wanted 800 , hmm all the other shops were about the same price.

He used SEm Rock kit, they top it off with rattle can raptor. He took almost 4 hours of prep and took him less than an hour to lay on the bedliner. I was good with the outcome, he has an instagram. He did tell me to give it 7 or 10 days to fully cure before throwing crap in the bed.

Had an interesting time on the Swamp Lake Trail this weekend.

Nothing 2 winches a snatch block and a high lift jack couldn't fix though. Trail fix only took about an hour and we were good to go

Ran some test scrubs against this rust. Hoping it’ll clean up alright. I see shiny stuff.

For those running Alcan Leaf springs. What are you doing when replacing the bushings? Alcan doesn't list bushings on their page. I'm sure I could reaching out to them to get them to send me an invoice, and buy from them. But judging by how much they want for their springs now, I'll bet they'd want over 200 friggen bucks for a set of bushings.

Is there anything special about the eye size? Or, would 1st gen Toyota bushings from Wheelers, or something work?

They should just be standard size poly bushings you can get from almost anywhere. Only OME has the smaller odd sized ones. Trailgear/LROR/Wheelers will have them.
